Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 361Great hotel
The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had an excellent view. The restaurant downstairs had great food in the evening. The presentation of the food was awesome. I was not pleased with the breakfast the next day it took a long time to get the food and when I did it was cold. Overall it was an enjoyable trip. I would stay there again. It was in walking distance to the Convention Center. I especially liked having the RiverWalk right across the street.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 361OK if you aren't concerned with quality
There were some disappointments. Although we ended up with a larger room, there wasn't any air conditioning. And, even after they (supposedly) worked on it, it never was cool enough to be comfortable and lead to many sleepless nights. The parking fee was average for the area (pretty expensive), but they do not post that taxes are additional. There is no wi-fi in the rooms and internet is not free. There isn't a pool and no place to just relax if you don't want to be in your hot, stuffy room.

Very nice hotel in convenient location to Morial Convention Center and French Quarter.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 361Too many steps in hallways
The hotel was very nice and clean, the only annoying issue is the hallways. You have to climb up stairs and then back down stairs to travel the hallway to get to you room. This is a problem when moving your luggage

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 361Good Location, Comfortable Rooms
Location was within walking distance to many of the areas in the French Quarter, good restaurants and the Riverside Marketplace. Comfortable rooms, but every morning we awoke to doors slamming and loud road noise outside.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 361Back to 1982
I know that New Orleans is about 10 years behind the rest of America in terms of technology, but I figured a hotel that bases its business off of being close to the convention center would have high speed internet access in its rooms. That however was not the case, but outside that aspect it was a great place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 361Nicely renovated, very close to the Convention Center
I spent two nights at the renovated Wyndham near the Convention Center. The location was very convenient (particularly in view of the fact that I had to walk to the Convention in high-humidity weather). My room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was good, with a nice selection of simple and more elaborate choices. Overall thumbs up.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 361Great hotel...
This hotel was great for the money we paid. The hotel restaurant is wonderful and the staff is very nice. The only thing that put me off about this hotel is that on hotels.com it states that they offer parking but it doesn't say that there is a daily charge for it. There is indeed a charge for parking which we discovered is true of about every place in New Orleans. I don't have an issue with the charge, just tell us up front about it so we can take it into consideration when planning our expenses on the trip.
