Great room for the money

We drove up from Cincinnati to see the Cavs play and chose this hotel because it was very reasonably priced, near the Q arena, and had a pool (the kids love to swim). Everything was great. When we arrived I needed to go online and print my tickets and the manager let me use his office rather than the business center. I left the car in valet and left some items in it and the folks in valet were very accomadating. Also, the free shuttle service was perfect considering I did not know my way around the city. They took us anywhere we wanted and made great recommendations for food, etc. We had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves the whole time we were there which was nice. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well priced and had excellent service and food quality. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if I ever need to go back to Cleveland.

Perfect for a Quick getaway!

We stayed at the Wyndham on NYE and went to a show at House of Blues. The very nice driver from the Wyndham dropped us right off in front of the House of Blues and gave us great directions on how to get back which was only a few blocks. The hotel was comfortable and quiet and the staff above average, going out of their way to help.

not what you pay for

For being a Wyndham hotel we expected to be in a really nice room the room was sub par at best the tv wasn't updated even the holiday in we stayed at in cleveland has plasma tvs. the whole experience just wasnt what we expected but it served the purpose of sleeping between activities.

Great Stay!!!

I was pleasantly surprised that I encountered 5 star hotel Stay at a 3 star hotel cost!! It was conveniently located and personnel were friendly and professional! Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

good deal for the money

we were mostly pleased. the hotel was nice as was the room. the staff was very good at meeting our needs, friendly and knowledgeable. had a free shuttle that would take us wherever we wanted to go. our only criticism was the parking situation. there is a parking garage across the street, reasonably priced for a big city. we parked there and planned to walk mostly. we did take our car out for cedar point and when we returned it was closed. we went to the hotel and our only option was to use valet for THEm to park our car in the garage. a total of $22 just for one evening. that was a little frustrating. otherwise, we had a good experience.

Good Hotel for a weekend getaway

The hotel staff if very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great although a bit pricey if you don't eat alot at $14 per person. The bar if also a festive environment, but again, $9.00 for mixed drink is a bit steep.The only criticism is the valet parking. Not only is it the ONLY way to park, it is $22 and everytime we called for valet services tobring our car, we had to wait generally 10-15min. They do need imporved service since guests can't get there car without them. Overall a good hotel, a comfortable bed, a nice pool and sauna, and only minutes away from Jacobs Field or Browns stadium.

renovating

They were making renovations at the time I went, and I was obviously put on the unrenovated floor. I asked for a nonsmoking room and found cigarette burns on the sheets (no smell of smoke though). I found mold on the second bed's sheets and in the bathroom. It's an easy and quick walk to the public square, and even quicker to progessive field if you're in town for a baseball game.

Expected more from a Wyndham...

I would say the hotel was okay, but not great. The location is easy to get to from the highway, but the neighborhood seemed to be a little empty. It's within walking distance of Progressive Field if you're going to a ball game though. Valet parking was expensive, especially considering it was the ONLY option for parking. We also had some difficulty getting the room we wanted, and had to have quite the discussion with the front desk clerk, who seemed less than impressed that we had booked the hotel through any website other than the hotel's direct site. It wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed, but I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.

"Don't Arrive At Night"

I rolled in around 10 PM with a large musical instrument and luggage. It was raining. Hard. A hotel employee watched me struggle to get stuff in the door. Finally, one very nice employee took pity on me, but this was not her job, obviously. A guest, watching the spectacle, said to me, "I was going to open the door for you. Not very helpful are they?" I don't expect a brass band to greet me, but someone opening a door at a downtown hotel would be. Don't arrive at night. nice.

Nice

It was a good hotel, and a nice place to stay for a ballgame so you can walk and wouldn't have to find parking for the game.

Great hotel!!

Clean rooms, quiet hotel. Close to Progressive Field. Good value.

Not Satisfied

This hotel needs some improvement. I chose to valet my car, and my car sat in front of the hotel for at least 30 minutes. It seemed as though the valet service was unorganized. Also, my room was freezing! The thermostat was not controlled from the room, and we could not control the air temperature ourselves. It was not a very comfortable stay.
