Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 3 of 1729no free internet
I have become so accustomed to free internet service in hotels that I was very surprised to find that the Wyndham was still charging a $10 per day fee.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 1729Glad I got a good rate ...
Solid hotel in a good location near the Magnificent Mile. The hotel furnishings are a bit dated and the television is a dinosaur (fortunately I did not watch it).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 1729Wonderful hotel.
Great, convenient location to shopping and all levels of dining - casual to fine. The price offered on Hotels.com was awesome. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is across the street from a hospital, so the sirens start early and continue late into the day. We had two children with us and they thought that was cool. The pool is a bit small but nice, w/sauna, steam room and large hot tub. The food, like all center city hotels, pricey. But within a block or two there are lots of options.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 1729Excellent Hotel for the Price
The room was outstanding. The only problems I had were that the prices in the bar were exorbitant, the wait was somewhat long at checkout and because the entrance is on a side street, it took a while for cabs to respond to the doormen.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 1729NOT family friendly
We come to Chicago every year for a couple of nights. I booked the room for our family (2 adults, 2 children). The price was slightly higher than what I had paid in the past at other hotels, but this is a 4 star hote. We where dissapointed. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Everything is extra. They had a snack-bar in the room, but a single candybar would have cost $3. The "pool" was totally tucked away behind the fitness room. It was obvious that it was not really for kids. The beds where not even queen size, and our rooms faced the Northwestern hospital. Every night the sirens woke me up at least 4 times. Don't pick this hotel. This was our worst stay EVER!!!!! You will regret it. On the other hand, the corner bakery right across the street was excellent.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 1729Excellent Stay
We booked this room on hotels.com for a wedding. We were only there for one night and didn't spend much time there but it worked out perfectly for our needs. The bathroom was very large by hotel standards with a nice long vanity that allowed my husband and I to comfortably get ready at the same time. Only downfall was finding someplace to have Sunday breakfast (other than the hotel or Corner Bakery), but that would be true of any hotel in the Magnificent Mile/Streeterville area of Chicago.

Very nice accomodations. Excellent location, one block form Michigam Ave.
