What a bargain!

What a pleasant experience staying at this hotel was. We were only there for one evening but we really enjoyed our stay. We had a beautiful room on the first floor with high ceilings. Breakfast was fantastic and the sweet lady that was in charge ran a tight ship. I have stayed in rooms 4 times the price but not nearly as nice.

Quality doesn't match price

Just felt the hotel was twice the price of what a hotel like that should cost for the area. Very Dissappointed. It was clean, nice, friendly, just no where near the quality of hotel for what they charge. Won't make that mistake again. Oh, and the free cookies at front desk - stale, small, chips ahoy. Wow for the price I should have gotten a case of them.

Nice Hotel

While on a football recruiting trip to Abilene with my son, we stayed at the Wyngate. It was a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast satisfying. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice

This hotel was very nice for the price paid. Check-in was fast, the lobby was very new, comfortable and clean. Rooms were spotless, and the beds were soft, clean and comfortable. If you're looking for something well worth the money in this price range, I recommend The Wingate by Wyndham.

Wonderful hotel

This hotel was worth the price. The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean and the personnel were extremely friendly. I really appreciated the fact that they had a coin operated washer and dryer on the floor! Finally, the complimentary breakfast was the best, there was even a line for the waffle maker because they were so good!

Nice Place

The room was clean, plush and comfortable. Price was reasonable. Nice continental breakfast. The Polish woman maintaining the breakfast area did an excellent job making sure everything was just right. Hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.

Lovely new hotel

The room was very nice. The bed was amazing. I actually looked to see who manufactured it so that I can price one for myself. The front desk staff were helpful and offered coupons for dinner at local restaurants which was nice. The bathroom could use a bit more lighting for help applying makeup. The free breakfast was satisfactory. Nothing fancy but more than just a muffin and coffee. Over all, I nice hotel to brighten a stay in dreary Abilene.

Just what we were looking for!

From the time we checked in, to the time we left, we were impressed with this beautifully decorated hotel. My assumption is that it is fairly new, because it looked that way. Incredibly clean! The personell at the hotel were friendly and very eager to please. The room - WOW the room! We changed our travel plans at the last minute and the Wyndham was able to accomodate us. It is an absolute certainty that we will stay there many times more in the future.
