Trip Type: With Friends Review 18 of 224OK for the price; I just don't like surprises
I recommend the hotel to those who are on a tight budget. The staff was friendly enough; however, I requested a room with a small fridge because I am diabetic and needed to refridgerate my insulin-there were none. There was no coffee pot and nowhere to get coffee on the hotel grounds and there was no microwave or anywhere to heat up food. There was also a surprise fee of $5.65 per day for "hotel services" which is tacked on to your final bill. I'm OK if I know this is a part of the practice beforehand so that I could make a decision before I book.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 19 of 224Tiny but affordable
The Wild Wild West room was tiny and just had enough space for the two double-sized beds. The weekend rates were the lowest compared to the otherhotels on/near the strip. I didn't plan to stay inside the hotel for any length of time so the small size of the room was not an inconvenience. Just realize that it's a place to store your things and get some sleep and not a place to hang out.

Trip Type: Romance Review 21 of 224great location, beware of fee
The place it fine and we had a good time. It is very close to the strip, just across the 15 and it is located next to in and out so location is great. However, be aware, the hotel charged us an extra $5.50 a day for some service fee, I guess that includes the phone or something but it was annoying particularly considering the rate was only 20 dollars a night.

Trip Type: Family Review 23 of 224Very happy with hotel
We went on a budget family vacation. Happy with the hotel. The positive stuff... small casino but good music, great hospitality, two blocks from Fremont Street(Vintage Vegas) diner inside hotel has great breakfast and dinner specials open 24 hours. The negative... no ice machine had to get from restaraunt and no pool. Over all impressed for the price we paid(very budget).

Trip Type: Special Event Review 24 of 224good for the money
I chose this hotel because it is close to the airport, where I picked up my wife. and it had semi truck parking, since I am an over the road trucker and it is within walking distance of the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is a good value for the money. The only problem that we had was when housekeeping cleaned the room one day while we were gone, evidently they did not pull hard enough on the door for it to lock, so the door was open slightly. We did not find anything missing though, so we are sure that it was just a human error.Security followed up on the incident.

I love good deals, so I would definitely recommend this "off the strip" trucker-joint. For a fair price, I got a nice pool, a gambling hall, friendly service, and some fun people to enjoy Las Vegas with. It's a single bus stop off the strip and doesn't exclude you from any of Vegas's fun times due to its location. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend taking a chance on this cool little spot. Solid value.

Trip Type: Romance Review 30 of 224Jungle Yard to the Strip
The hotel sits less than a half a mile away from the strip. However, to cross the mangled streets and highway entrances/exits where there are no crosswalks and guardian forbid not even sidewalks on both sides was terrifying! In the morning, I could hear the t.v. blasting from the other room, but I believe it was because of the thin walls, not because the t.v. was on super loud. I will never stay here again. We only stayed because we thought we'd save money on taxi fairs, but walking is out of the question, unless you want to dodge raging vehicles.
