The staff was excellent as well as the location. Restaurants, coffee shops, and the subway stop are all really close to this hotel and you are just enough off of Times Square to "be there" without the noise. We stayed on the 36th floor and could see the Empire State Building and Times Square. You are also right in the theater district. We walked around at all hours of the night and we felt very safe. We highly recommend!

Stayed four nights with my 74 year old mother and 16 year old daughter. Location was great, my mother would go back to hotel after we saw a play and my daughter and I would go out in Times Square till 1:00. It is centrally located, close to the subway, walking distance to 5th Ave and theater district. Service was excellent.

Outstanding hotel with super service. We were only in NYC for a night - we arrived prior to our room being ready - but they stored our bags so we could immediately go out sightseeing - and then they stored them the next day while we continued sightseeing - since our train was not until later in the evening. That made a tremendous difference - not having to lug a bag around on the hop on hop off bus.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The room was comfy, the staff was extremely helpful (especially if you need tourist info)and the location was perfect. Anything you could need is within a block including quick coffee,drug store, movies, restaurants.

I used my free night stay while on a trip to NYC and decided on the westin based on other reviews. The staff were very helpful from the bell hop to the maid. We had a nice view of the NYC skyline. The bed was so comfortable that you forget there's so much to see and do outside your door. I would stay here again.

We were very please with The Westin for a number of reasons; firstly check-in time was 3PM but we arrived early at 10AM and we were given a room that was ready. Secondly I asked for a room on the lower floor and I was told I paid for the 36th floor and up despite that I was given a room on a lower floor plus the room has a fantastic water view. Thirdly when I asked for a late check out they gave it to me without hesitation. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
