Trip Type: Business Review 17 of 47Great Hotel
This hotel is old but that is what gives it character. The staff was more than helpful with our bags and directions to anywhere we wanted to go.

Excellent service and very accomodating employees. Beds are a bit firm for my taste but overall, a great place to stay. Food is excellent as well.

Trip Type: Family Review 22 of 47Exquisite!
This hotel is a class act. They treat their customers with the highest regard from the second you pull up to the valet to check in. The room featured the highest quality carpeting, furnishings, and fabrics with a separate sit down vanity in the dressing room. I will definitely book this hotel again. It blew me away!

We werent planning on staying at this hotel. But last minute changes had us staying here. WOW.. Awsome place...Great size room and clean. Very nice staff. And afternoon Tea in the lobby (who does that crap)lol..The Only complaint I had was the $26.00 parking for the day...wow good thing I brought the Explorer and not the Lambo..Other than that I would highly recomend the place..

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 24 of 47Not to shabby
The rooms were well stocked, clean, and the high speed internet access was great and free with the deluxe room. Room service/in hotel resturants where good w/prices comparable to those in the area. Staff was freindly and very experienced about the surrounding area. The overall location was nice, just one block from horton plaza. The only real downside I noticed was the view is not the best, my first trip there the view was of a parking garage next door and on my latest trip it was the top of a one story pizza parlor.

Trip Type: Business Review 26 of 47Customer Service
I loved the stay, it was a beautiful hotel. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had a great view and we were close to everything! The place is soooo beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was the way I was greeted. I walked up to the representative at the desk and she was on the phone, she ignored me. Then a family came up behind me and she hung up the phone and asked them if they needed help. I stood there speechless. Needless to say, the people behind me got served first even though I was standing there for 5 minutes while she was on the phone.

Trip Type: Business Review 28 of 47Beautiful Hotel in the heart of it all
We've stayed at the Westgate Hotel before, so this was our second stay. We were there so that we could take a national exam that was being given at the San Diego Concourse (right across the street). So initially, we picked this hotel for it's location. This hotel is amazing. The architecture is beautiful, and the interiors of the rooms are comfortable and cozy. The only complaints that we have are simple. We wish the beds had pillowtop mattresses for a little added softness (a personal preference), and we wish the room included a small coffee maker (coffee is available in the main lobby in the mornings, but you need to get there quick before they run out). Other than that, the hotel is well worth the money! You won't be sorry if you choose to stay at this hotel.
