Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 133clean, high quality, modern
I like the filtered tap water and free pop corn. Overall a very pleasant place to stay. The complimentary breakfast is better than most.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 133Good value in an okay location
The Watertown and her sister hotel, The University Inn, are both located near the University of Washington. There are a number of affordable restaurants a few blocks away which cater to college students, but offer good value. The hotel provides free USA Todays, breakfast, gym, parking, laundry (need to purchase soap), afternoon chocolate chip cookies and, on Thursday's, a beer / wine social in the afternoon.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 133Contemporary Comfort
Watertown is a very modern-styled hotel with contemporary designs everywhere. Our room was huge, much bigger than expected. Often, rooms are just big enough to hold the beds, but our room had plenty of open space. The microwave and refrigerator were convenient, not to mention the ability to rent bicycles from the hotel. Full breakfast (complete with bacon and scrambled eggs) makes this hotel a real bargain. It would be perfect if it had a swimming pool. Only complaint is that the parking spaces in the garage are so tiny, getting in a space can be next to impossible when the hotel is full.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 133A great find!
Parking included which is great. And the breakfast was more than your standard continental items.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 133A Good Hotel
The Watertown is a good hotel located near the University of Washington. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Free parking located in underground garage. Stalls are a little tight. Convenient shuttle service to different points in the local area. However, do make reservations for a shuttle drop off/pick up. The shuttle is a mini-van, and it can only accomadate 6 passengers. A short walk to Universtiy Way, will get you to buses(to downtown), shops, and restaurants. Would definetly stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 133Uncomfortable room
Don't bother with the lowest-cost "studio". We had to sit on the beds because there were no chairs in the room. Beds were old and uncomfortable and our view looked out on their dumpster. On a better note, they have free, secured, underground parking.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 133Spacious and clean
We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel in the U District. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again when visiting our child at UW.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 133Newer hotel with AC
This hotel was a lifesaver with record heat encountered during our stay in Seattle. The A/C worked Great!. The room was spacious, however there was not enough light to work comfortably at night. The hotel is modern in appearance and function in the University District where many other properties are tired and in need of updating. Breakfast was hot and very convenient. Only the Access, from a one way street, and the tight underground garage posed slight issues which would otherwise have made it a 10.
