Hotel Features. A striking feature of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is its exterior outlined in neon lighting at night. The Gourmet Walk, the hotel s restaurant row, includes six restaurants serving a range of cuisine from Cantonese and Sichuanese to Italian, Japanese and Filipino dishes. The hotel offers three bars, one a piano bar, a poolside bar and a pastry shop. Complimentary buffet breakfasts are served daily. The Waterfront Casino includes baccarat, black jack, roulette, poker, paigow and other games. The casino s décor was designed to resemble the city s old town plaza. Recreation amenities include a landscaped outdoor pool with waterfalls, a fitness center, massage services and a variety of classes such as yoga and aerobics. The hotel also offers a business center, function rooms, shopping and complimentary shuttle service to area malls. Pets are not permitted.
Guestrooms. The 18-story hotel s 561 guestrooms provide ocean and mountain views and varied décor. Amenities include cable television with premium channels, direct-dial phones, safes, desks and wireless Internet access. Rooms also offer coffee and tea makers, complimentary bottled water, minibars and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. Roughly 500 years ago, explorer Ferdinand Magellan erected a large Christian cross to celebrate the baptism of an island chief. The relic is said to be housed in a small chapel across the street from Cebu City Hall, encased in a larger wood cross to protect it from souvenir and relic hunters. While the true location of the original cross has been debated, the destination remains a very popular tourist attraction.
Onsite parking is free for guests only for the duration of their stay.
