Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 24Not new but good location
If you are going to New Orleans for an event at the Superdome, this hotel is just about perfectly located, just about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel. Weekend parking is free on the street, but there is a two hour limit if you go during the week (with parking garages nearby also). Kind of expensive for the condition, it used to be a residential hotel, but the rooms were clean and no visible (or smellable) remnants from the flood.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 24Must have been nice pre-K
No amenities, not even hot water. I had to walk to my sisters hotel to take a shower. No bar, no pool, not even working lights in my room. I had been to this hotel before the storm and it was pretty decent., Now, Only a shell of it's former self. Big closets though.

The hotel location is great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was not in good condition it needs alot of work.I wouldnt recomend it if you want a nice quality hotel for your family. It is perfect if you want a quick place to jus sleep if you go out in New Orleans for a night or two.

I understand that New Orleans was hit with a very bad hurricane almost 2 years ago. We were in NO last year for Mardi Gras and stayed at another hotel in NO. There was food on the floor, hair on the floor bathroom and a light out in the dressing area. I asked for the light bulb to be replaced and it wasn't. The coke machine on the 7th floor did not work. I know it is hard for NO to get back to the way they were before the hurricane, but I payed good money to stay in your hotel and did not get what I payed for.

From the name of the hotel, I assumed it would be a good one as most others are. At check-in we were given keys to our room and told the wrong room number. After getting the correct room information and keys, we went up to the room. No doors on main closet (which there was supposed to be one). Stains on the walls and carpet. No flat sheet or blanket on one of the beds. I asked the front desk for both and was informed they were out of blankets, so they gave me 2 flat sheets. In the bathroom, we were missing one sink faucet knob and the other one was sitting there and came off when you turned the water on or off. Warm water - but NO hot water.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 24In it's day
It is evident that in it's day this was a very nice hotel. It is a complete dump. It is fine for college kids and men looking for a close hotel to the Superdome.

We were able to walk to the French Quarter with ease - and for two seniors that's something. On returning to the hotel we were able to access the bus line to take us to other destinations. The WW11 Museum was also in walking distance. It was nice to go to the Superdome and enjoy the game and not have to drive in traffic before and after the game. The hotel is just three blocks from the Superdome. The staff were friendly and helpful.
