W Hotel -Union Square stands for WOW!

Greeted wonderfully- Valet was friendly and efficient. Helped us get all our bags and saw us right to the desk. We were upgraded to a bigger, better room. Staff was friendly and service was very good throughout the Hotel. Had cocktails & appetizers in the lounge first night. Waitress greeted us and set up seating and table grouping for us. We felt comfortable right away. Had breakfast in Olives restaurant- everything was delicious. I would definitely stay here again. Not bad for making the reservation online approx. 1 prior to our arrival!!

Great Location, overpriced for the room.

The location was great. It was near everything we wanted and we assumed it would be a really nice hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the decor of the guestroom is flat and unappealing and the extra blanket we got was rough to the touch. We didn't sleep much because of the noise. If you want trendy hangout and don't care much for the comfort factor, it's a good choice.

Old building,very noisy overall,Couldn't sleep due to street noise,despite being on 15th floor.Sink in bathroon didn't work and no hot water in shower.Curtains are not sufficient to prevent light,so i had to wake uo with the sunrise.Very expensive.

Totally worth every cent!

This hotel is fabulous! Better than I expected. The lobby is so neat and interesting, very cool music playing and the front desk staff was awesome. The lift had to be used with your room key, I liked that feature for added security. My room was perfect, clean and quite. I was given an upgrade to a larger room with a great view, they did this without asking. What a lovely surprise. The entired hotel staff was excellent, I have never experienced such a great team. The hotel bar is the best. Again, great staff and wonderful martini's. The food was also great. Used the 24hr. room service, yes a bit pricey but well worth it at 2am. and you don't feel like walking. The food was delish! They let me check in early and leave 1/2 hour later than check-out. The door men were also great and not bad to look at either, LOL! I will come back here in a heartbeat! Thanks W New York-Union Square for making my weekend great!

W Union Square

Just what we expected, although our room was not ready on arrival. Front desk gave us drink tickets to use in the bar while waiting. Good hotel, but a bit crowded and crazy on check in on a saturday afternoon. Great location and fairly quiet. Recommended.

The "DW"

The Delightful "W" was a great hotel to stay in. It was recommended by my daughter who lives nearby in Brooklyn. It was centrally located to shops, restaurants and the subway which we used constantly. I felt very comfortable staying there with by 19 year old niece and walking around that part of town. The pillows were fantastic, too!

W in Union Square

Overated! The room was incredibly small ($400 Suite) plus we had to wait an extra 1.5 hours to even get in from the advertised check in time. This was the first and last time we will pay those kind of prices for the W.

The original trendy hotel chain

Chic decor, comfortable beds, rooms small but designed to feel spacious. Views from high floors are stunning. Be sure to look out for promotional perks like free car service in Manhattan.
