Great bargain and convenient

Convenient to UC. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's an updated older structure with a minor maintenance issue or 2 but you can't beat the convenience with the price.

Comfortable and close

Not right off the 80 but a really nice place for the $$. Comfortable and clean, free wi-fi, nice decor. Close to lots of great restaurants.

Breakfast was good, and the bed was especially comfortable! Everyone was extremely friendly.

Great room for the money

Great value, close to everything, very clean and obviously just updated with new flat screen T.V. and fixtures. Bed was very comfortable. Room a little small but overall excellent!!

Best Accomodation Choice For Your Money

Hotel Located 4 blocks from UC Berkeley, Easy acess to public transportaion (BART & Buses), very friendly staff, Comfortable bed, clean and fresh linen,all rooms are non smoking and many places to have lunch or dinner withing walking distance.

Modern and comfortable

Although the room was small it felt new and had all you need---fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, ironing board and comfortable bed. We noticed there was no soap to be found but didn't bother to call the housekeeping since we had our own. The fridge, right at the foot of one bed, was noisy at night so we just unplugged it. At breakfast in the lobby the staff was not too attentive--when the hot water ran out he was on his cell phone forever so I didn't get my tea replenished. My daughter and I had an appointment to tour UC Berkeley in the morning and it was very convenient, short distance walk to the campus.
