Villaggio Tonicello

Location. Villaggio Tonicello is located in Capo Vaticano, Italy, within 200 metres of the beach and eight kilometres from Tropea town centre. The closest train station is Ricadi, 800 metres away.

Hotel Features. Villaggio Tonicello is set amid green pines, olive trees and eucalyptus trees on a sandy beach overlooking the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. A wood trimmed veranda skirts the facade of the hotel. Complimentary use of the tennis court and football pitch is available. There is an outdoor swimming pool available during the summer.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is available at Ristorante Le Macine. The restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes.

Villaggio Tonicello offers an entertainment programme and mini club for children. There are numerous excursions and activities organised daily, including horse riding, diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and bicycling. The hotel offers boat rentals and excursions along the coast of Capo Vaticano and Tropea.

The pools, restaurant, coffee shop, bar, and mini club are available seasonally from May through October.

Expert Tip. Capo Vaticano is known for its crystal clear waters that provide good visibility for diving. Mantineo Rock is set just off the coast below a lighthouse and provides fantastic views of colourful fish, sponges, tunicates, bryozoa, numerous crustaceans, gudgeons and blennies.
