Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 7not a 4* hotel
great location, good service, clean, BUT the room was tiny, the bed was tiny, and everything was very old. definitely not a 4 start hotel

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 7Nice hotel and atmosphere but I didn't like the neighborhood.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was beautiful and well kept. However, the air conditioning in the rooms does not cool well. Also, they did not make clear that breakfast in the morning was 18 euros a person!! When I checked in I was left with the impression that breakfast was included wtih the room and when I checked out they were going to charge us quite a bit of money for breakfast. Fortunately the manageer walked up and heard the conversation. I said I wouldn't have eaten breakfast if I had known it was 18 euros a person. She decided not to charge me.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 7Great service but a busy and unattractive area
One's first impressions of the hotel are colored by the neighborhood in which is located and by the reception staff - impressions which are inarguably at odds with one another. The neighborhood is busy, dirty and not very "bon vivant". Alternatively, there are many food choices - ranging from low to high end. The staff at reception are extremely helpful, welcoming and full of information, allaying any immediate fears one has that are caused by the neighborhood. The rooms are small but comfortable, as are the bathrooms. The hotel is 1 block from the Grand Boulevards metro stop (very convenient), making a tourist or businessperson's life quite a bit easier. The breakfast is definitely worth missing (re-heated croissants from a box and pre-made food), especially for the price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 7Outstanding Hotel in Paris - Highly Recommended
We had a wonderful stay. This is a very nice and quiet hotel in one of the best areas in Paris; nicely decorated. the personnel was very, very helpful and coordinated all our events, they were a great resouce. Lots of restaurants at walking distance with affordable prices. We will definitely come back again!

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 7GOOD AREA
Have been to Paris several times and this hotel is located in a section where you can walk to many sites. If you dont like to walk, stay elsewhere otherwise evrything worth seeing in Paris is less the 30 min walk. Good location for food, lots of little bars and Restaurants. Hotel is small but rooms are better then average size for Paris. Good for business or couples if you get a reasonable rate not a family hotel. Hard rock cafe is 1 block away.
