"Relaxing Getaway"

If you are lookin for a quite place to relax and be treated like royalty than the Viceroy Palm Springs is for you! Gracious staff, great food, relaxing atmosphere. The pool is great, chairs fill up quick so make sure to put your towel down. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay an amazing one.

Amazing Customer Service!

When we arrived for our stay there was a freak windstorm that slowed down the check-in process due to the maids not being able to clean rooms for their own safety. We were offered a free glass of Champagne while we waited and were comped for lunch at the excellent Citron restaurant for the inconvenience. Aside from that the entire staff including George at the front desk and I believe it was Diego were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. I would def come back to hotel for the great service and its a nice hotel with good location.

The Viceroy was a great plase to escape.

"Superb Staff, So-So Surroundings"

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and refer to us by name. The rooms, though large and comfortable, were in need of some deep cleaning and repair (broken chandelier, stained chair, etc.)

Absolutely amazing!

The Viceroy was fantastic! As soon as we walked in we were offered champagne while we checked in. That service continued throughout our stay. The room, the restaurant, the grounds and the pool were all freaking awesome. I'll definitely be back. SO much better than The Parker in Palm Springs.

great place

The Viceroy is very comfortable and we loved the decor. The only complaint is that even though our room was big, the hotel feels small.

great location and good atmosphere

The Viceroy is a great, hip little hotel in downtown Palm Springs. If you are looking for a mega-resort that is new and sprawling then this isn't the place for you. If you want old-style palm springs (with a decidely modern twist), in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown then its a great place. Friendly service abounds.

Very Nice Friendly Hotel

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. No attitudes. We booked through Hotels.com and got a very good rate. The hotel grounds are lovely and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. The location is great. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay.

Adequate for the money

Excellent service but outdated room facilities. Rooms need better storeage and space accomadations and a bit better amenities such as coffee makers etc.

"Tired" property

I'm sure the property was lovely in days gone by, but it's dated and tired and service is not what we expect in a four-star hotel.
