Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 608Price is right for a short stay
We only needed one night. We stayed in the North Tower Deluxe Rooms which we heard were newer, I'm not sure when the time period of new was, but it's not in this decade. The room actually was surprisingly large, but as other reviewers had said, you need to keep your shoes on in the room, you can tell they don't vacuum very well. Everything is pretty dirty. But, noone goes to Vegas to stay in the room right? We stayed only 6 hours from our arrival to the next hotel. It was fine for that and it was the cheapest hotel in the Downtown area. It is located very close to all the action on Fremont Street. There is a bar with great live music on certain nights, then the hotel is packed. all in all the hotel stay was okay

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 608oldy but goody
The hotel is old but, the accomodations were fine. If you are in Vegas to spend time in your room you are going to the wrong place. The staff was very helpful and the location and price are amazing!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 608Great room for the money
I stayed in the North Tower. The room was large and clean and the staff was very attentive. I like Fremont Street better than the strip and I will stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 608Not great
I booked this hotel during a popular convention, so it was really all I could get for the time I needed to go. The people who work there are very nice. That's the good thing. The hotel is very dingy and worn in appearence. My room had various cigarette burns on the carpet and furniture. The carpet did not look like it had be vaccumed in awhile. There was a crusty hand towel hanging from the shower rod when I got in the hotel. I put it down on the floor for housekeeping to pick up. 3 days later, it's still there. The window is large with a great view if you can see through all that calcium build up. It's on the outside, but it's filty. Tinoco's Kitchen is pretty good and cheaply priced. Breakfast was very good for the price. I recommend that even if you don't stay at the hotel. The Las Vegas club is a last resort if you can't find anywhere else to stay. If you are on a budget and can look past the uncleanliness and all you need is a place to shower and sleep, I guess it's ok. Personally, I won't be staying here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 608It's what you pay for
Ice makers are on like every 3rd floor. Good luck finding them. Or staff that knows where they are. Hotel its self is not bad looking. Rooms are a little run down (older) Seemed like it was cleaned well enough though. Remote for the smallest tv I have ever seen in a hotel didn't work. Over all it was not bad for the price. I didn't go there to hang out in the room. It's just a place to seep. The location is great.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 608Room rate are over valued.
Room rates at this hotel are over- priced. This hotel's room rates far exceeds the value the customer receives. This is a good budget hotel in the fremont district. Weekends rates are too pricey for a standard room. Overall- good budget hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 608Won't stay there again
Lobby smelled like dirty mop water. Took forever to check in as only had one staff person working. Had to walk through a small nightclub/bar with suitcases during a live show to get to elevators. Table in room had blood stains. Room hadn't been redecorated since the early 1970s. Towels were thin and only one bar of soap was in room. Ice machine did not work and had to go to the floor below to find some. Elevators were slow. Had to circle parking garage several times to find a parking spot...apparently anyone can park there as no attendant on duty.
