family visit

i had family members visit and the location (near san jose downtown and airport) was great. the room was clean and comfortable. the AC was quiet and worked! they have microwaves and fridge; most hotels this size don't offer that.

Low-Budget Roach Motel--- Only for the Strong-minded

This place is very mediocre. What i didn't like was the 30 year old paper-thin bedspread, that no doubt has had unspeakable liquids spilled on it thousands of times. With only one blanket and that paper thin old bedspread-- I was cold. So I turned on the wall heater and the damn thing made more noise than a jet engine inside my room. So you have a choice-- freeze in quiet or warmth in noise.

Not happy!!!!!!

After a long flight the last thing I needed was a long, and I mean long walk to my room. It was not convienient at all. I will not recommend it to anyone at my company.

good for the price

I just spent 13 days at the Vagabond hotel. It was just under your average room, nothing fancy. It was conveinently located close to my seminars. Service was good, the best part was a Denny's located right front of the hotel.

Great rooms for the money

As for my stay at the Vagabond Inn in San Jose the stay was great. The employees there were very courteous, friendly, and effecient on checking in and out people. They even went out their way to give me a more convenience room for the first night i was there. i would recommend the Vagabond Inn to all that likes a friendly atmosphere fo a home feeling.

Managment difficult

Need to check in ~12 noon and the Motel parking lot was nearly empty, yet they would not let me check in until 3 PM. First motel/hotel that would not be accomating for a quest that had a busy schedule.
