Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay at the University Inn - Seattle. The room was very clean, the location was accross the street from our appointment, it was easy to locate, the staff was helpful.

Wonderful Find

Other than our room was on the street side and next to the red "University Inn" neon sign, our stay was quite comfortable. We will definitely book this place again for our next trip to Seattle. Staff were exceedingly pleasant considering it was a big Homecoming weekend at U of W, plus a football game with U of O - BIG rivalry. Breakfast was well done and snack at 4:00 was bonus!

Great for UW visit

Nice. comfortable hotel, with friendly people in a good location convenient to UW and restaurants. Excellent price.

Great Location, Great Service

Convenient location near the University of Washington Medical Center. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The front desk workers were extremely helpful and friendly. The Portage Bay Cafe right next door has fresh vegan, vegetarian and organic dishes. So delicious! Don't miss it. The hotel breakfast had everything you could possibly want and there are also snacks at 4:00 pm that we really enjoyed. The shuttle service is nice but the only downside of our stay is that it was about 40 minutes late picking us up.

Great room for the money

We rented a car, so the free parking was great. Stayed 5 nights and only had the breakfast once because of the hours we kept and because the breakfast place next to the hotel was delicious, a bit pricey, but delicious. The one day we had the hotel's breakfast we thought it was fine. Didn't have the waffles everybody raves about here but they looked and smelled good and also looked easy to make with poured out portions and directions on how to cook 'em. All the other offerings were just fine to get you going. The room we stayed in was their most basic room and it was very clean and the pillows were the best I ever had in a hotel. The comforter was high quality too, nice and heavy. We slept with the fan or air conditioning on so there was no noise from other rooms or the street we could hear. When we were in the hallway we could hear sounds coming from other rooms, but when we were in the room we couldn't hear them at all. The internet access was also great and greatly appreciated. It was in a convenient spot- a little off from the front desk and it had a great printer which we used. I would definitely stay there again.
