Horrible service!!!

The staff barely spoke any foreign language aside from Portuguese. They had difficulty communicating in English and Spanish. When I aarived at the airport there was no shuttle. I waited for an hour until I finally decided to take a taxi to the hotel. The room was horrible!! The a/c did not work and I barely slept due to how hot the room was. The next day, the shuttle was scheduled to pick guests up at 7:30 am and it did not show up until 8:15am. The staff was rude and not helpful. Thank god I planned ahead because I would have missed my flight if I had taken the next shuttle. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Weak communication skills with guests

Make sure if you need shutle service you ask at the airport. The hotel staff are not very informed with regards to shuttles to Santos.

great room for money

The hotel was cheap for a 4 star. Like most hotels in sao paulo the hotel is surrounded by slumbs so you cant just walk out and grab a bit to eat. The hotel its self is very high standard for the price you pay and we found by booking through this site it was a lot cheaper in dollars than pounds. Greatest advantage was that the hotel had a shuttle bus from the airport so we used the hotel for a day room until our evening flight.

Great Hotel but far away from airport

Far away from the airport.... more than 30 min trip!!! about 20 miles....

Over all, this Hotel is very good. They supply airport and a shopping service at no charge to the guest

Nice surprise

The Tryp Guarulhos hotel was great. They had complementary transportation to and from the airport. Everyone was nice and helpful. The room was large and very clean. It was an excellent value for the money.
