Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 3324pool closed!!!
For the price, everything was great... but they should let people know that the pool is closed for remodeling!!! We had our hopes up about going into the pool after a few glasses of wine to just relax....:( Plus at check inn, they even told us the hours of the pool, and when my boyfriend and I went to the pool ( a long walk from our room too) it was closed!!!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 3324Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. After reading other reviews I was a little nervous about our stay, but I think the low price was a great deal for the hotel. It's obviously a slightly older hotel, but it's clean, comfortable, and quite enjoyable. The bathroom was huge with a huge oval bathtub and lots of space for getting cleaned up. We were checked in very quickly and the staff was quite pleasant. There was only one bar in the hotel that opened before 10:30am, though, which is a bit of a pitfall for us social drinking Vegas visitors. There were also little shops set up, all-you-can-eat buffets, and an oxygen bar. But overall, especially considering the price, I will definitely be staying again.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 3324Needs remodeling, badly.
Hotel is old, and shows it. They are, however, remodeling it this winter, and it would then, be a great place to stay. Close to everything, and the staff is second to none. Very friendly and helpful and seem proud to work there. Bed was horribly hard, and bathroom is run down and dated, but it WAS clean.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 3324Parking and Cable Selection
I was upgraded to the Island Tower and that was nice. It turns out, there is parking in the back and the room was easy to get to without running through the whole casino. My biggest peave is what was available on the TV. They have CNN, CNBC, MSNBC. No Fox News. See the pattern?

For teh location price is great. The Paradise Tower is much nicier than the Island Tower.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 3324They do charge a Resort Fee!!
They charged us a resort fee even though the pool was closed for renovations. Many other hotels in area without fee!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 3324needs better service
We paid in internet for the fifth person and they did not gave to us an extra bed, the first person at the front desk was rude, the second helped us a little better, they did not reconize that we paid extra for another person. I know that it is one of the chepaest hotel in Las vegas, but anyway be nice with the public and give whatever they offfer in internet is the minimun that we wanted

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 3324Hidden Fees
When I checked in the hotel charged a $9 per night "resort fee" on top of what I already paid through hotels.com. I sked what the fee was for, they told me it was for use of their pool and hot tub. Well on day 2 I went to use the hot tub only to find out the pool and hot tub were under renovation. So I was paying a fee to use something that doesn't exist. Bed was very worn out. TV had about 8 channels total. Parking lot is very small for a hotel that size. So a couple times we had to park in a remote overflow parking lot.
