Nothing spectacular

Small room. Difficult to keep water in the shower stall. Voices and music from lobby despite noise filter. $4 for bottle of water. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good location.

Best Hotel in NYC for the Price

The Tribeca Grand is my favorite hotel in NYC. From the pet goldfish to the awesome iPod loaner program, this hotel is unbeatable in terms of uniqueness and affordability.

Very impressed

I was very impressed with Tribeca Hotel during my weekend stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the service was exceptional. I never leave comments/reviews but I felt that this one deserved 5 minutes of my valuable time... I even got some special VIP treatment and access to the hotel's 'exclusive' club as a guest of the hotel. ;)

Worth the effort to find.

It sure is not easy to get to the Tribeca Grand, especially if you're driving, but it can be worth the effort. It may seem slightly pretentious because there is no name immediately visable but it provides old style service worthly to the old guard mid-town hotels. There are top of the line bath amenities and turn down service, the type of things you expect from facilities costing hundreds of dollars more per night. The location seems a bit removed from the Soho shopping district but the two block walk is not taxing.

bell staff, concierge, front desk staff - everyone was positive, happy, smile on face, eager to please. No uppity or haughty.

All you need (and a little more) at a perfect location

The room itself is very simple, pretty sparse, and somewhat small, but unless you plan on spending all day in your room (and why would you - you're in New York), it's "all you need." The service was extremely helpful and friendly, and the night life scene was very active! It did not, however, keep us from a good night's sleep - the room has built in sound machines and very comfortable beds! The location was perfect - a quiet corner within walking distance of SoHo and the Canal St. subway.

A beautiful hotel perfectly located in Tribeca. Relaxed, yet impeccable service. It does not get any better than this!

It is all about the location and the bar

Great location amazing bar. Nobody bothers you, great! The waitress at the bar, very, very nice!
