Old Hotel! Fixtures need updated. Bathroom looked like it was from the 40's. Room needed new carpet and maybe new furniture. Just showing its age. Pool was kinda small, but alright. Good thing about hotel was that if you are doing business in U.S. it is right on the road of the Ambassidor Bridge. But getting to hotel from this road was a little tricky. You have to pass hotel and do a U-turn at light after hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 7Fine hotel
I was staying at the hotel for one night. I was interested in downtown Windsor. If you are looking for something close to downtown and basically a place to sleep, this hotel was very suitable.

Slide into the indoor pool is what drew us to this particular hotel on our Canadian holiday. We weren't disappointed.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 7Needs Improvement on Signage and entrance to Hotel
It was about 9 pm and raining when I came from Detroit. I drove down the highway until almost 401. Turned around and looked again on both sides. Still didn't see it. I saw Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, Motesl 8 etc. but couldn't find Travelodge. Had to stop and ask locals where it was. They said before ExpressWay. This time I finally saw it and found out why it was so difficult. Instead of just the name "TRAVELODGE" like all the other hotels, it was crammed with rows of other information TRAVELODGE INDOOR POOL (just slightly smaller font) CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WIRELESS INTERNET FITNESS CENTER MEETING ROOMS COMPUTER LAB All of the above was on one sign- nothing to stand out like the other hotels (like just the name-the amenties on a separate smaller sign lit up differently. The next issue was the entrance to the hotel. I had to make a U-Turn to get on the right side of the road and I couldn't find the way into the Hotel grounds. Had to make 2 other U-turns to get me infront of the Hotel again. This time I was going very slow nad sure enough, after I had passed the Hotel, there was a very small UNLIT driveway that I hoped was the entrance. There was a Bar and some small businesses here and I could get to the Hotel. The air-conditioning did not work, but the night manager quickly fixed that by immediately placing me in another room and I applaud his excellent service. The manager was freindly and curtious.
