What A Joke

We checked in after 10pm and when arrived we had to wait over 45 minutes waiting outside the hotel, continually ringing the bell. We had 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room. When we opened the doors there was a horrible odor in both rooms, the box spring on one of the beds were broke, the curtains were disgusting, had cut off, frayed, and stained! The bathrooms sink had no hot water, and water ran off onto the floor. Breakfast was 2 stale cereals and mini muffins. There was 2 towels in each room. When we complained to corporate they said the manager has to handle it. 17 calls later still no return calls. I would not ever recommend this to hotel to anyone!

Expected better

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and all they had available and acceptable was a room with 2 doubles. The one with the queens smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The hotel seems to be going through somewhat of a remodel and there was network and phone wiring running between the rooms up at the ceiling on the wall. There was also open wiring boxes where we could actually see into the next room. This was even more unfortunate because this next room was a smoking room and the smell drifted into our room. Even after we blocked it off, more smoke smells were coming from somewhere else, possibly the vent between rooms. It was one of the worse rooms I've stayed in in a long time.

Need to Finish the Renovation

Overall the quality of the hotel was what we expected for the price paid. No perks other than the free high speed internet that actually worked. Biggest downside was the unfinished remodeling which gave the hotel a rundown feel. Would not recommend until the remodeling is complete.

The lady at the front desk was very rude. She needs to work on better customer service.

Needs Improvement

The hotel was under obvious construction during our stay. The bathrooms were very out dated and worn and only had a shower - no bathtub. Not sure if there was an ice machine- not one in plain sight. The elevator is gross and smells heavily of oil. Ok for a quick nights stay- but too much money for what you get.

Needs beyond improvement

Horrible. They are renovating but still taking guests. It's just a mess. There was a whole stair case missing, plaster falling off the walls, cracks in the walls. I would wait until they are done.

Dirty, Broken, Closed Off

Whether it's the filthy pool, the broken elevator, the stairs under "contruction", the aspestos showing through the walls, the exposed electrical wires everywhere, or the countless number of poor quality amenities, I highly do not recommend staying at this place.

do not stay here

I understand that half the hotel was under construction, but my room had 7 holes in the ceiling. while i was working my wife called because of leeking toilet it was not fixed three hours later when i got to the hotel. the staff was not helpful or even very profesional. Everything about this hotel was a dissapointment. the only redeeming qualities are location and a nice dinner right across the street. Never again I will sleep in my car car before i return to this hotel.

Needs improvement

Hotel was conducting a "facelift" on the outside; however, the room was in bad condition and needed the renovations worse than the outside of the hotel. The ceiling above the shower looked as though it could fall in on you at any time--large cracks in the plaster and part of it hanging down. Carpet was dirty and even though it was billed as a 'non-smoking' room, the room reeked of cigarette smoke.

Not worth the money.

This hotel was nowhere near being worth the price charged. It was given a two star rating but was not even worth one star. If you are unfortunate enough to stay in this hotel, don't take your shoes off while you are there.
