The hotel was simply okay. The location was SLIGHTLY inconvenient because to get to the beach you must cross a busy street. Great place if you own a pet though, it is pet friendly. Also, I must say that if you choose the hotel partly because of the free breakfast, do not waste your time! The free breakfast was horrible. Stale donuts and cheerios. That was it!

Good room for the money at the beach

This hotel is obviously older. The rooms were small, but clean. My main complaint about our room was that the AC unit was too close to the bed, and when it came on, the air blew right on you in bed. Otherwise, the room had a microwave and 'fridge that we were not expecting. The continental breakfast consisted of: cereal, milk, toast, donuts, apples, coffee/tea, & bagels. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was free WIFI. The pool view from the room was very pretty. The pool & patio area was very nice. A short walk across the street to the beach.

Good room for the money

Room was ocean view. Had a problem with the beds which was fixed the next morning. Staff was very helpful with suggestions for meals, etc. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel for the price

The hotel overall was good for the price. The beds we kind of hard. If you have to book a non-smoking room and are a smoker, get one with a balcony and you can some out there. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Good for a quick bagle and coffee. Nothing much more. Overall I would recommend for the price.

Great Get Away

With very short notice, I found this little gem. It was perfect for the two nights we stayed in Kill Devil Hills. The complementary breakfast was plentiful and surprising tasty. Very convienent to great eating places, shopping, and sight seeing.

A Nice Stay !!

The hotel decor needs a little updating, but overall it was a great room for the money. The breakfast each morning was a definite plus, as we did not have to worry about that added expense. A short walk to the beach was also nice. My kids loved the pool and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Great Room for the money

This hotel exceeded our expectations. All of the personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room, was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There was no noise issue and beach access was convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again.

great location for the money

rather affordable and the beach is across the street with plenty of places to eat and things to do near by.
