Awesome stay

We stayed at the Travelodge during a mini vacation to SeaWorld and it was wonderful. It's not too far from there and is in a great location. There are many restaurants nearby and a grocery store. The room we stayed in was perfect. We have a young child and she had lots of room to play and romp around without disturbing other guests. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very clean as well. We even made use of the pool which was warm and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall I have to say that our stay was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again.

outstanding value

This hotel offers a room quality worthy of hotels charging twice the price. Plus the management is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a good neighborhood with easy access to two major freeways which both go to San Diego. There is a Von's supermarket just a block away. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

Great room for the money

My wife and I found it enjoyable, comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful. It is not a destination hotel, but rather a great 1 or 2 night stay hotel. We were on our way up the coast and needed a nice clean and well maintained hotel for the night. This is just that. You will think you did very well for the price you paid.

Great clean and comfortable room for the night...Very quiet and roomy. Continental breakfast included, everything was fresh. Recommended A+++

Good stay

It was a good stay for the price. Clean rooms with plenty of room but a short shower. Complementary breakfast with a make it yourself waffle station was good, and people were nice. The location wasnt outstanding but was fine. it wasnt really near anything interesting within walking distance. The beach is no more than 20 minutes by car though, and ther are other places to see with a car. Good overall stay in my opinion

Great Hotel

This hotel was recently renovated and looks new and modern. They had beatiful rooms and comfortable beds, they had a beautiful bathroom and complimentary snacks in the room. the continental breakfast was great, they even had waffles. I would stay there again if I was again in the area. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

LOOKS MAY BE DECEVING...

WE CAME TO SAN DIEGO FOR HALLOWEEN JUST TO GET OUT AND HAVE A FAMILY WEEKEND.. CHOSE THE TRAVEL LODGE JUST THINKING THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.. AFTER THE ZOO WE PROCEEDED TO FIND THE HOTEL WE BOOKED THROUGH HOTELS.COM AND THE BEGINING OF THE SEARCH WE WERE ALITTLE BIT CURIOUS TO SEE IF THE PICTURES WERE DECEVING.. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT TO THE HOTEL THE PICTURES WERE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE IN THE PICTURE BUT WHEN YOU GET IN THE LOBBY OF THE HOTEL ITS VERY NICE AND INVITING.. FINALLY GOT THE KEY TO THE ROOM.. AND TO OUR SURPRISE THE ROOMS WERE VERY BIG.. IN CONSIDERING ALL THE OTHER HOTEL ROOMS WE GET AT THE PRICE WE PAID IS SMALL. THE STAFF AT THE TRAVEL LODGE WERE VERY GRACIOUS AND HELPFUL.. MY FAMILY'S STAY AT THE TRAVEL LODGE WAS VERY EXCEPTIONAL.. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS HOTEL AND WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE THAT WE KNOW THAT IF EVER IN SAN DIEGO, LA MESA THEY SHOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL... IF AND WHEN WE COME BACK FOR ANOTHER FAMILY OUTTING.. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY HOTEL WE WILL BE STAYING AT.. WE WERE VERY PLEASE WITH THIS TRAVEL LODGE.. THE STAFF IS VERY VERY NICE AND COURTIOUS..

definitely a lot better than what I expected. It was cheap, the room is very spacious, the decor was great, great for a little romantic get away, if you're gonna spend most of the time in the room that is..

Perfect

This Lodge ist a very Good Adress to stay in San Diego. It is very clean, the rooms are big, the interior is relativly new and the bed is more comfortabel as beds in other motels. Furthermore the brakefast is in contrast to a Continental Breakfast good.

Tight parking and sometimes a little hard to get there from anywhere. Had a good stay and would do it again!

Great room for the money

For the price this was a great room. Obviously recently redone in a cool modern style. Nice welcome basket of snacks in room. Breakfast was pretty standard and staff very friendly.
