Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 12Needs lots of Improvments
Its a great location, but the Town Inn needs lots of improvements, rooms need upgrade, they are old & service is below expectation.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 12good for money but could use improvement
Stayed for six nights. Good location and saved money with kitchen. Some relatively minor investment in suites would greatly increase the hotels value. It would be nice to have TV in bedroom as well as living room. Kitchen should definitely have microwave. All rooms had balconies, ours had a fantastic view from 23th floor, however no furniture to sit and enjoy the view. Simply by adding a couple of plastic or wicker chairs with a small table would greatly enhance the balcony. Housekeeping staff needs improvement twice forgot to leave coffee and once forgot to leave towels. Both corrected quickly by front desk. Would definitey stay again despite drawbacks.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 12Lots of Room For Improvement.
I'll keep it quick: the staff was friendly, but the hotel had a general air of shabbiness that was pervasive. Tap water was the color of milk, and the bathroom sink would fill up in the time it took to brush my teeth. The foldout sofa was super uncomfortable, rendering the whole two beds thing kind of laughable. But worst of all: no hotel bar?! This made this room little better than a pillow and a (full) sink, rather than a headquarters for a delightful weekend in Toronto. Toronto, of course, was superior either way.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 12pretty good for amount payed
I was pretty happy with my stay. The parking was a little comfusing but we ended up parking in the hotel garage which was convenent but a little pricey. The room looked like it had not been touched in a while; it was pretty dusty. The beds are comfortable and clean. The pool is only open till 10PM and there is not a hot tube. There is no internet for free you have to pay but it is only about $6 for 24 hours. The rooms are cute but could be cleaner. Nice place to stay for a friend vacation not for family.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 12Needs a lot of improvement
Hotel was dirty and service was very bad. We have to wait for towels for 2 hrs. The carpert was so dirty in the room, that you could't walk without thinking that you were going to get somo kind of sickness in your feet!

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 12Should trust the review on hotels.com
Rating is wrong 2.5 stars, needs hotels.com to re-check. The hotel is very depressing, staff not motivated, no money to maintain the hotel at a decent level? Not surprise if the hotel is closed soon. The main issue is that the hotel is DIRTY every where, I SHOULD TRUST THE REVIEWS FROM OTHER COSTUMERS ON HOTELS.COM Not recommended for parents having kids !!!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 12Great place for the money
I stayed in this hotel for one night ... for the price, a great find, and is very close to the Church Street area. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and were overall very helpful. A good place if you want a nice, spacious room at a good price - the balconies offer a great view of the city. The only downside was that there are only 2 or 3 elevators for the entire building, which got slightly annoying. Will probably stay here again on my next trip to Toronto. Place was undergoing some renovation when I stayed - will probably be nicer when I return!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 12Great location, rather shabby condition
I would recommend this hotel for its location, but the condition of the building is not great. It does have a large pool. The hallways are in poor shape, the rooms somewhat better. The service was friendly, no complaints there. But some things didn't work; there was no stopper for the bathtub; stuff like that.
