Rocky Start but a Great Finish

The first room I tried smelled like strong air freshener. My head started hurting before I could even sit down. I asked for an air cleaner but it made it worse so they gave me another room to try which was no different. It was as though they were trying to cover up smoke but they kept telling me neither of the rooms were smoking rooms so after trying 4 rooms I finally found one that didn't smell so strong. I was very happy with the rest of our stay. We stayed on the club level which was comfortable and quiet. The Wynfrey aims to please and they succeeded.

good...but

...very expensive- its nice it was connected to a mall however that mall not that great. i would stay there again, only complaint would be the pricing, seemed a little high.

Great location

Nice hotel and great location but a little pricey.

Needs Improvement

Bathroom sink was clogged. Central air unit didn't work.

No Free WiFi

The hotel was lovely, bed was excellent - but why is it that this kind of hotel, charging the top dollar, has to nickle and dime guests? They charge for internet and for parking. Just so you know. Hey, even the Day's Inn has free WiFi.

Nice hotel

The hotel is nice and everyone was friendly. The commode in our room was leaking around the seal on the floor. Liquid from the commode drain ran onto the floor and the commode was loose from the floor. We reported the problem to the hotel desk and expected the repair to be effected. When we returned from dinner our room keys were not activce and we had to move to anothe room. The hotel did upgrade us to another room and I thank them for that, but it was non-the-less very inconvient. The breakfast restaurant associated with the hotel is no longer open.

Good hotel

The hotel is dated somewhat in decor but still pleasant. My sink was extremely slow to drain, so I had to watch it when using water so as not to let it overflow. I didn't call maintenance as I was only there one night and at a conference the majority of my stay. The staff was great, courteous and always pleasant.

comfy beds, aging hotel

The beds and pillows were very cushy and comfortable but there were a few things that I noticed that needed some repair or replacing. I would definitely stay there again, but I'd like to see a new sofa in the lobby and some cosmetics done on the room.

Great Hotel

The Wynfrey was extremely nice and met my needs exactly; however, it is frustrating to have to pay for parking when the hotel's location is not in a city center. There were ample space for parking, yet I was forced to pay.
