Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 565Simple, Basic Hotel
Older hotel that appears to be undergoing renovations. The hotel also serves as apartments, which is an interesting combination. Large bedroom and living room area would be good if many people sleeping over (family).

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 565Not a Happy customer
There was nothing I loved or liked about this hotel. Our first night, there was a strong odor as soon as you stepped off the elevator. This odor was very unpleasant. The odor was in the room which made sleeping hard. I would not stay at this hotel again. There was a cooking stove in the room which I was very uncomfortable with. Just imagine someone cooking and falling asleep.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 565Great room for the Money
While older in appearance, we found The Windsor Suites to be practical, comfortable and friendly. I liked that the elevators required a keycard to operate (safety); breakfast, while not exotic, was free and included waffles and cereal. The location was close to the downtown sites so we walked everywhere. The room was spacious enough, included an easy chair, free internet, and a kitchenette, which we didn't use as a kitchen, but enjoyed having the extra sink. We had a walk-in closet (albeit older looking) and nice bathroom amenities. I would recommend it, especially for families trying to stay in one room.

room was clean however the bathroom needs to be bigger and the tub/shower drain drained very slow which caused the tub to almost over flow not able to take a long enough shower

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 565More Stars than Dollars in Center City:
I stayed 2 nights at the Windsor and was very pleased with the creature comforts. The studio room (with kitchenette) was ample, with 2 writing tables suitable for work and/or eating in. I saw many younger, party-ready guests in the lobby and elevators, but my room stayed completely quiet. Desk staff was friendly and helpful; I didn't use room service or other staff. It's about 3 blocks from Rittenhouse Square, 15 minutes from the Art Museum, and a half-hour walk from the Drexel and Penn campuses in one direction or Independence Hall in the other. For a downtown experience, this is an excellent value for the money. I'd gladly stay again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 565Never again
I have never been more dissatisfied with a hotel. I booked 2 rooms, one of which wasn't ready until an hour after check in time. Once we finnaly got to the room, it smelled like smoke. They said they would try to find us another room. When they did, it was 2 double beds and not a king as the previous one was. No one offered to help us carry or push our cart full of luggage. There was no hot water in the shower. They didn't even bring the room keys up to our exisiting room, I had to go up and down to check and get the keys myself when my 2nd room was finally available. To top it all off, when I got my car in the morning from their garage, there was a huge scratch on it!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 565Outstanding Hotel!
The hotel was not what we expected, in a good way! It was very clean, the staff was outstandingly helpful and nice! There is breakfast offered every morning with staff helping you work the appliances and to just see if you're doing okay. The suite we stayed in was very big for 3 people to stay in. Would definitely stay there again!

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 565Great Value
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is right by the Franklin INstitute and easy walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. My room was large with a King bed, galley kitchen, and bath. It was very comfortable. HIghly recommend!
