The hotel front desk staff is very friendly and was kind enough to move me to a top floor free of charge because it was my Birthday, they didn't have to but for a returning guest they did. Great place to stay in the city!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 1017Terrific service!
Not only was the room superb, but the service was first rate. It is the level of service you'd like to think you could expect at every establishment, but I've found it's not as commonplace as it should be. Everyone, however, at this hotel provided top rate customer service, and I'd definitely stay here again.

Be prepared to pay $50 a night for parking! The beds are comfy though :)

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 1017Great Location
I loved the location of this hotel. Vibrant section of city--easy access to taxis or public transportation. Walking distance to cable cars, Yerba Buena Gardens, Chinatown, and Union Sq. Inside the hotel, its beautiful and classy. Room was excellent and view was great. Can't wait to return!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 1017felt more like a Best Western...
The lobby/bar/restaurant are beautiful. The room was cramped. The bathroom was tiny (toilet practically touched the shower) Bed was great. Relatively clean (shower had hair in it). The fan/air conditioning was really, really loud. Overall was satisfied, but I have stayed in much nicer, more spacious Westins. Great location near Union Square, Financial District, etc.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 1017Very Helpful Staff
The room was clean and very nice but the staff were exceptional. We were given clear directions to bus lines as well as a map of the area which was very helpful. In addition, we had difficulty driving into San Francisco due to the Bay Bridge closure, and were given very clear directions to alternate routes out of the city.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 1017Great Value in Great City
Westin Market Street was a great hotel for the price and location. Considering this hotel puts you right in the middle of great shopping, great dining, and all of what makes San Francisco so great, you can't beat this hotel. We would stay here again if we visit SF again.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 1017nice hotel for the price.,
Good but expensive breakfast. Recommended over the somewhat tired Westoin St. Francis at Union Sq.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 1017Fabulous weekend stay!
The rooms were large, clean, and especially quiet - considering we were right next to the elevator - we didn't hear a thing!! The beds were heavenly - it was the best night sleep I've had in a long time! I loved the area, just south of Union Square. The best was watching "critcal mass" on the Friday before Halloween. That alone was worth staying at the hotel! Also, extremely convenient to the muni - as I found out Friday evening when I could not get a taxi.
