Trip Type: With Friends Review 17 of 1017Very Nice Hotel
This hotel was very well appointed. Beautiful furniture, carpet and wall coverings (my wife is an interior designer). The location is good with access to the cable car route a couple of blocks away. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the price of parking ($48/night hotel parking or $25/night at one of the parking garages across the street. This is typical of San Francisco though as space of any kind here is at a premium. The other negative was that our room didn't get made up one of the two days we stayed there. Not a big deal though. They brought us plenty of clean towels and toiletries.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 20 of 1017The Hotel was Great no complaints, BUT
$48.00 (+ $5.00 & chg tax) to park overnight at the Hotel is outrageous. Oh + a tip for the valet!!!

Trip Type: Business Review 21 of 1017Excellent Stay in an Outstanding Hotel
My Westin stay could not have been nicer. I had a lovely, spotless room with flat screen tv, spacious work desk, and very nice bed linens. Great location, friendly, helpful staff, and great shopping nearby.

Trip Type: Family Review 22 of 10174 Stars???
This room was very nice, but had no fan in the bathroom. One would think a four star hotel would have a necessary item like this, especially in a humid environment. With 3 people showering every day, you can imagine the room was very wet at times.

Trip Type: Romance Review 23 of 1017This is the place to be
The hotel was great, in a very active part of town. I love the city and this local was close to everything. The room was very comfortable, clean, and roomy. Very nice. Would stay there every time I visit.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 24 of 1017Ok if you get a deal
Just needed a convenient room for a night in San Francisco. We were getting in late and flying out early, so didn't feel any need to splurge. Checking into the hotel was chaotic and getting our bags to our room was a debacle. The room itself was tiny. There was barely room to walk around the bed, there was nowhere to sit and there was nowhere besides the floor to put our luggage. The bathroom was also tiny had had an annoying energy-efficient light bulb that took a couple of minutes to actually fully illuminate. The location was decent and the place is probably ok if you're in town for business in the financial district. I don't recommend it for any extended stays.

Trip Type: Business Review 26 of 1017Parking is expensive
Good hotel and location, but over night parking was $54 with tax. Local taxes were high as well, and added a lot to the bill.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 28 of 1017Outstanding Hotel
I loved the hotel. The rooms were very clean, the beds were unbelievably soft and we had a 40" flatscreen. My only issues were the cost of parking $40/night and the fact that the bellmen wouldn't let take a luggage cart upstairs.

Not outstanding, but the combination of location/cleanliness/affordability/service made for an enjoyable stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 30 of 1017good location
This hotel was just a short walk to union square for shopping and sight seeing, with all the big fashion names. a ten minute walk from the folsom area, and close to arts as well. the bellmen were a bit rude, but in their defense, so were some of the guests! the rooms were good; bed very comfortable and the area was quiet. I always choose a Westin when traveling because it's always a nice quality.
