Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 131"The bed is very firm"
I have stayed at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel on three occasions over the last five years. The hotel itself is very nice. I did find the bed this time was too firm which disturbed my sleep.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 131Westin standard has gone down from exelent
Convenient shuttle transport from the airport. Great bar with happy hour. Room only provided thin plastic cups - not fun for wine. A drawer included someone's sweaty undergarments left behind. Time to replace carpeting.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 131Can't believe this is a Westin
This hotel had a strong odor of mold and mildew; therefore, we were extremely uncomfortable with the stay. We called for a room change and we were moved immediately. The second room was somewhat better but still had this mildew odor. We were just too tired to go anywhere else just for one evening so ended up staying. The bathroom was old and the tub had a huge crack/void in the finish. The bedspreads were supposed to white I assume, but were old and had brownish staining. Needless to say I did not keep this anywhere near my face. I could not believe this hotel could parade as part of The Westin line. The only good thing I can say is that we ordered room service and the food was delicious, expensive though.

You can hear planes taking off from LAX. Staff is not friendly. Only business.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 131Barking Dogs, Needs Renovations
The hotel itself needs an update. Would be a nice hotel if things like carpeting and a re-paint were done. There were barking dogs outside our window from early in the morning on. Sounded like a dog pound underneath us. Would not recommend.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 131Decent for the price
For the price I paid, the Hotel wasn't too bad. Clean, decent... right next to the airport, but pretty far from other places we wanted to go (i.e. Hollywood)and LA traffic doesn't help. My biggest complaint is that I booked a 2 Double Room, and they gave me a King Room. I had to go back down and complain, but they wouldn't change it because all the rooms were sold out... though they did give a free roll-away which somewhat made up for it. Another thing was that guests can get a parking pass with in and out privileges which was nice. the only bad thing was that it didn't work going out one time, so we had to go back in the lobby and wait in line to sort it out. They need more concierges!

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 131Worn and frayed aging property
Great service, overpriced food/drinks, facility is in a deteriorating state and room has not had thorough cleaning in a long time - dust and dirt in all corners - ethernet did not work despite several hours on phone w/hotel staff, then they tried to charge me for the trouble call!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 131Convenience & Comfort
We always have family members flying in to Los Angeles and tried a few places to house them but the Westin is the best so far. The only downside is the parking--at $16. a day it is costly -- so we arrange pick up and delivery and save the money for our guests.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 131Filty carpets, obnoxious check-in service.
Filthy carpets. Filthy enough that you couldn't walk barefoot, and certainly not exercise on them. the rest of the room was fairly clean, and to be fair, beds were very comfortable. The hotel was almost empty, but they refused to move my room....directly above the bar on a Saturday night, and adjacent to the runways at the airport. ridiculously stubborn just to be obnoxious.
