if you are inrerested in staying in the georgetown area this is the hotel for you. clean modern rooms. only two main concerns, i was charged by hotels.com the total 4 night stay rate, then i was charged the same by the hotel. when i went to the hotel front desk, they were not very friendly or helpful. it took them 2 days to take the charge off. the young woman at the desk kept correcting me. it tainted my stay at a very nice hotel.

My stay at the Westin Grand was very brief but I found it to be extremely nice and the staff especially was very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect and I was able to take a short walk to Georgetown in the morning before my morning meeting downtown. The rate was also excellent for such a nice property and I would definitely recommend the hotel to business and vacationing travelers.

The hotel itself was nice. I was a little disappointment with the room. The toilet was dirty! I was shocked! Also, due to size of the room the full length mirror inside of wardrobe was not able to be used because you couldn't open the wardrobe door all the way.

We were within walking distance of many restaurant and shops. Just across the street is the Uptown Cafe. Very convenient for quick breakfast/lunch. They also have a great salad bar. I was a bit disappointed with the lobby/restaurants inside the hotel itself. It was just missing something.... The bed was super comfortable. At the time of the booking there were no doubles availalbe so I had to take the King bed option. The room was obviously designed for just 1 person. The closet space was small for 2 women (my daughter and I). Not enough towels left for us in the bathroom as well. Still overall our stay was nice. The staff just outside the hotel (the ones who help get your car/luggage) are very courteous, helpful and just genuienly pleasant.
