    The hotel is located in the galleria. If you are here for shopping you don't ever have to leave the immediate surroundings of the hotel. There are great places to eat within walking distance and the room service is very good. I would definitely encourage anyone wishing to relax in Houston to stay at the Westin.

    Hotels.com nor the Westin informed me the entire hotel was under construction. Also, the rooms are outdated and not well maintained. I was not at all satisfied!

Location. The Westin Galleria is located in Houston, Texas, and is adjacent to the Houston Galleria. The hotel is four miles from Memorial Park and six miles from the Wortham Theater. The George R. Brown Convention Center, the Toyota Center and the Houston Museum District are eight miles away.

Hotel Features. The hotel's Daily Grill serves American cuisine. More than 70,000 square feet of event space is available. The property's business center offers complimentary wireless Internet access. The hotel includes an outdoor pool and maps of jogging routes around the hotel.

Guestrooms. The Westin Galleria offers Westin Heavenly Beds with custom pillowtop mattresses, comforters, white duvets, five goose-down or feather pillows, bolster pillows, and 230-thread count, 100 percent cotton sheets. Bathrooms feature dual showerheads, curved shower rods, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. Refrigerators, minibars and coffeemakers with Starbucks coffee are provided.
