Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 49Was a nice hotel but could have been better
Overall, the hotel was very nice and the location was great. However, I do have a few gripes: --Why should I have to pay extra for in-room internet access?! This is not an inexpensive hotel and certainly the least they could do is provide this. It is not convenient to have to go to the Business Center to go online and I refuse to pay the extra money to go online in my room. --I requested extra toiletries and 30 minutes and 2 calls later, I finally get them. I ended up not having enough time to have breakfast. --Parking was expensive...ouch!! Again, overall the hotel was nice but considering how much you pay...they could do more...

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 49The Westin City Center Is The Place To Stay!
From the moment we walked in the door to the Westin City Center my family and myself were blown away by how beautiful everything was, complete with a skating rink and galaria type shopping all around. Parking was convenient and the rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. I can't wait to stay there again!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 49Ask where the dogs are staying.....
This is a great hotel for the art district area, especially for the price. The only Big Problem we had was that no-where did it say that this hotel is Pet Friendly. We had issues with dogs barking loudly and when reported, the solution was to move us, with no guarantee that we wouldn't have the same problem on another floor since pets do not always get registered through the front desk (as with the case of the dogs down from us). We got a free breakfast, but that didn't make up for the napping time we lost before we went out that night.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 49Outstanding Hotel
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and ready to meet your needs. The room was very clean and had extremely comfy beds! I really liked having the restaurants behind the hotel. It was very convenient for lunch and breakfast. I will stay here again if I am ever in Dallas again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 49Great for the money
The hotel was great for the price. It did take a little longer than necessary for room service to bring up drinks, but we called during a shift change.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 7 of 49Great everything!
I loved it! The location was very convenient and close to everything in Dallas. The staff were so nice and helpful. Our room was big and the bed was sent from heaven! We got the room for a special price because now it's more than what we paid in March 2009.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 49Hotel was nice, but cheaper hotels offer more
Didn't offer much for places to eat. Only a food court with junk food open at lunch. Nothing open in the evening anywhere close, even with a big convention. Barely enough towels and no shampoo or extras. Parking cost $22 a night, parking lot across street, but you can't park overnight. You can only use valet or be towed. No shuttle service.

Heavenly Bed wasn't pillowtop mattress--harder than hotels in Mexico! Missing "Do Not Disturb" sign so morning maids knocked after telling them not to do so.

The hotel is great. We stay there every year for the AKON convention my daughter attends. My only complaint was FOX NEWS was not an option only CNN,MSNBC,...and for the price would appreciate free internet.Otherwise; beautiful and comfy.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 49dream come true!
Outstanding staff made a wonderful birthday for an 8 yr old--each staffmember greeted her w/ "Happy Birthday" and there was a dessert treat waiting for her in our room. She was elated, and will be a Westin guest for life!
