Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 588Grand old hotel
The public spaces of the Waldorf=Astoria were beautiful, grand and as spectacular as you would expect. Though our room was perfectly comfortable and clean (and I loved the bedding), it was nowhere near as grand as the public spaces. The Sunday breakfast buffet at Oscar's was pricey but good. We also saw a spectacular Sunday breakfast buffet in the main lobby bar with every food available - I can only imagine how expensive that would have been.

I accidentally left my computer in the room and they had it fed-exed to my office the next morning. My mistake, but they took great care of me.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 588Wonderful Stay
The Waldorf isn't a new hotel but it's still wonderfully comfortable. It's so rare to have a large bedroom with high ceilings that isn't a cookie-cutter room. The staff is wonderful and all of the details are taken care of during your stay. The location was great - it really feels like you're away while being in the city. Even if you're only spending money on the hotel, it's worth the visit.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 588Need for clarification
There was one minor bit of confusion upon check-in. Hotels and the Waldorf need to clarify whether the guest should notify either the Waldorf or Hotels.com (when the second guest is checking in prior to the rservation holder).

Loved the Park Avenue area. The service was top shelf. The staff was kind and helpful. Room was beyond clean and well maintained. Have and will continue to stay at the Waldorf when I am in NYC.
