    The suites are indeed very large, and the bathroom is fabulous, practically a room of it's own, with separate bath and shower. The suites are stepped back from the strip, so even if you get a room overlooking the strip you don't really see it (but have a great view over the Mirage). The down side of our stay were the beds which were not very comfortable and with low quality linens, simply not what you'd expect for this kind of hotel and price. Service was also soso, we were bounced back & forth 4 times between people to get a simpler query answered (if we could use gym once we had checked out, by the way the answer is no). Another minus, the endless corridors and walking you do to get from A to B . On the plus side, the hotel common areas are magnificent, and the spa well worth the $20 upgrade to get in. If you eat within the hotel (on the Palazzo side), try Dos Caminos, really good upscale Mexican with delicious Guacamole, and avoid Zine which was dreadful.

Location. The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino is located on the Las Vegas Strip, three miles from downtown Las Vegas, Nev. McCarran International Airport is five miles away. Red Rock Canyon and Mount Charleston are within 20 miles from the hotel.

Hotel Features. The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino features replicas of Venice's classic architecture and art. A gondola ride streams through the hotel's canal, which is lined with shops and live performers. The marble-floor casino offers poker, slot machines and table games. The hotel hosts popular Vegas shows, and a nightclub is also on site.

Treatments at the hotel's Canyon Ranch Spa include massages, acupuncture, facials, mud wraps and body scrubs. The two-level spa also offers fitness centers, a climbing wall, saunas, steam rooms, a barber shop and beauty salon. The rooftop terrace features pools, spa tubs and private cabanas.

The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino boasts over 20 fine dining and casual restaurants, from Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante to Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse to Wolfgang Puck's Riva Poolside.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at this all-suite hotel offer beds with pillowtop mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down duvets and angora wool throws. Amenities include three LCD televisions, wireless Internet access, laptop-compatible in-room safes, and CD/DVD players. Suites feature minibars, dining areas and sunken living rooms. Marble bathrooms offer glass-enclosed showers, dual vanities, bathrobes and Agraria San Francisco toiletries.
