Overall the Hotel was great! The room had some cobwebs, but was nice and roomy. The Italian restaraunt had very good food.

The hotel was built in the 1880's so expect a quaint hotel and not something ultramodern. Positives: The beds are listed as Double Beds, but they are actually somewhere between American style King and Queen size, and very comfortable. The listing says the bathrooms have only tubs, but the tubs are actually typical American style showers with plenty of hot water. The rooms have free wired and wireless internet access in every room. The free buffet style full English breakfast in the pub room each day was excellent. Local newspaper was provided free each day. Nice pub in the lobby. Beautiful views of the Thames filled with small boats and rowers each morning. Negative: Train fare to London is pricey.
