Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 1 of 8Great room and value
Great mini-suite with plates and utensils, large extra room sitting area with TV, small private patio in back and only one block from the beach. I was truly impressed.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 8Comfy, Quaint, and Considerate
We loved this Inn. You get all the amenities of the big hotel (as it is part of Congress Hall), but the coziness and quiet of a bed & breakfast. The room was clean and very pretty. The bathroom was incredibly clean, bright, and the shower was awesome. The bedding was comfortable. We were in a rather small room, but it had a nice size closet. The view was great, we could see the ocean even though it was considered a town view room. All of the staff, including the cleaning crew was incredibly courteous and helpful. We needed items for our room, more than once (extra pillows, extra washcloths, batteries for the remote)...but they always brought them quickly and graciously. The DVD player was an added plus, for the evening. We will stay here again. It was very romantic and affordable.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 8Wonderful stay at the Star Inn
We just returned from spending 4 wonderful days at the Star Inn in Cape May, New Jersey. We loved our private front porch with a swing and a rocking chair plus the private patio with wicker furniture off the master bedroom. It was great having a living room and a small kitchen (although the sofa was a little low for our aging bodies). Bed was great and room came with 2 TVs (we sometimes argue over TV selections). Bath was small but had the best shower we've had access to in a long time. Location was big draw -- less than one block from great shopping & restaurants and a couple blocks from the Beach. We could walk almost everywhere! We also enjoyed using the Congress Hall facilities (Blue Pig Restaurant (dinner was better than breakfast), the front porch, and if we hadn't been staying off season we would have used their beach set up). Got a wonderful off season rate. We hope to return this spring or next fall and we'll definitely select the Star Inn as our first choice.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 8Great Place!!
This was our first time staying at The Star Hotel and we cannot wait to go back! I would recommend the motel suites at The Star because they have all the comforts of home & it is away from the busy main hotel. This is a very relaxing and quiet place that you will not be disappointed with. What a great time!! Thanks to all the staff. The pool bar rocks!
