Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 175Great weekend getaway
It was chilly outside so the heated jacuzi was nice and the gas fire pit complimented the evening.

The hotel is beautiful and so is the location and the grounds - only problems I had were fixed very quickly by guest services, i.e., smokey room, iron didn't work, phone didn't work. Two problems I did have were housekeeping stated I used the minibar - which I never touched and this concerned me - and I invited employees to dinner on saturday evening in the hotel restaurant, Azure, and the service was awful. I waited about 20 minutes for 1 glass of wine, our appetizers took about 30 minutes, dinner itself took over an hour - all in all very disappointing for such a beautiful setting and I didn't receive what I actually ordered!! Valet, check-in, guest services were all exceptional.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 175Fantastic Hotel
We had a wonderful time at the Shores. It was a beautiful property, the room was truly breath taking. We were a little dissapointed that eventhough we booked the higher price room that we still had to pay $25 extra dollars a day to get a balcony on our ocean view room (we gladly paid for the upgrade). The one thing that I will note is that the personnel at the front desk was VERY unfriendly and they were understaffed. The young woman at the front desk did not even acknoledge us and it took a good 15 minutes to be able to check in, and when she checked us in she was very unfriendly (I felt that she was burdened by having to take care of us). She made a comment as to our having made our reservation on Hotels.com- just not nice!!! The free parking is across the street- not a bg deal for us but if you have small children or lots of luggage it might be an issue. Great location and the beach is superb!!!

This hotel is something to been seen- the lobby, the fitness center, the restaurant, the pool area and the staff are all exceptional! There is a resort fee of $15.00 added to the bill- however, you get all access to the fitness center and wireless internet for that amount of money- not to mention the beautiful resort- you dont have to go anywhere else- the restaurant, bar, fitness, pool and beach are all at your fingertips-not to mention the beautiful rooms- 5 star bed and sheets.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 175Great Little Jewel in Daytona
I continue to return to this hotel because it is the best I have stayed in Daytona so far. It's modern and trendy with a mini bar and plasmas whereas most hotels in Daytona are old, horrid, delapitated and just plain gross. Service is great and the room service tastes good.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 175is nice for Daytona
I am from the Daytona area and moved to California. In town for a visit so stayed here. Locals hang at the tiki bar area with fire pits. Pretty cool. For Daytona it is one of the nicer places for the money. If I didn't know the area I wouldn't be as impressed. Room serviced 2 out of 4 days, broken handle on sliding glass door, hotel parking pretty far with lots of stairs. Not good with luggage. Staff friendly, comfortable bed, and kid friendly. I would stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 175Fantastic
Found this hotel on hotels.com and at 50% special offer. I was there on business, the hotel was great, can't believe the price I paid for this outstanding hotel. Everything was above satisfaction. Only complaint was becasue I was there on business was up early and rest. didnt open until 9:00am. (should be considered)Not very convenient! Will stay here again, even at the regular price if I have to.

we had a room on the riverview side, it was a great view! Lobby, pool area, tiki bar very nice, staff very nice and polite. our stay was only 3 nights wish it could have been longer. they allow pets and that was another great perk. would definitely stay there again.
