See more detailsLocation. The Shilla Seoul is a luxury hotel located in downtown Seoul, South Korea. The hotel is three kilometers from Seoul Tower, four kilometers from Itaewon Street and five kilometers from Namsan, a public park.
y and Hotel Features. The Shilla Seoul is set in 23 acres of wooded surroundings, offering an exclusive getaway from the noise and congestion of the city. A sculpture garden includes works by 40 Korean artists and paths for leisurely walks. The Guerlain Spa menu provides 32 treatments and nutrition and lifestyle counseling. A shopping arcade of 20 shops includes names such as Vera Wang, Davidoff and Hermes. The hotel duty free shop is stocked with major brand merchandise. Four restaurants serve French, Chinese, Japanese and otherd- international cuisine. A bar offering 70-80 malt whiskeys and wines also includes live music and a VIP section. A pastry boutique includes fresh-baked pastries and deli items. Recreational amenities include a health club, outdoor and indoor pools, aerobics and yoga classes, jogging, an artificial spa with calcium carbonated water, and an indoor driving range. The business center includes a full complement of business equipment and Internet access. Extensive conference and banquet facilities can accommodate up to 1,200.

Expert Tip. Tipping is not common practice in Seoul, as service charges are generally included in bills. A slight bow and a thank you are considered appropriate. However, taxi drivers and porters are exceptions and may be given a small amount of money if they assist with luggage.
