Trip Type: Romance Review 19 of 40Great stay in NO
Hotel service could not have been better. From the doorman, bellman, front desk, maids, resturant & bar staff, to especially the conceirge - great top to bottom. We took advantage of the stay 2 nights get one free promotion so it was a great price per night. Close to French Qt. & only 2 blocks to St. Charles streetcar for Garden District. Blue Room wasn't open, they said wouldn't until October.

It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in the staff was extreamly nice and helpful. Comfort was not over looked in an instance from the room to the staff everything was over the top. I would recomend this hotel to anyone and would stay here before even looking for a better deal.

The hotel was absolutely spectacular and we didn't want to leave New Orleans! I would recommend The Roosevelt in the future and have already recommended to someone planning a trip there within the next month! We'll be back! The employees were all so very kind, helpful, and professional! Thank you!

Trip Type: Romance Review 26 of 40Magical Renewal
When I was a child, my parents would take me to the Roosevelt for glittery, big name acts at the Blue Room and to see the wonderful hotel-wide Christmas decorations. It was where you would dine after theatre or symphony. It's taken four years since Hurricane Katrina damaged it, but the Waldorf has restored the hotel to where even a hard-core local feels that time has stood still. Best yet: For my anniversary, I booked the Roosevelt with my free hotels.com room and was given the Waldorf Suite. How gorgeous! And, as we walked in, the hotel staff was sneaking out of our room, having places chocolate covered strawberries, a small cake and our friends' gift of a bottle of champagne. Drinks that night at the Sazerac was a party and everyone there seemed to be on top of the world with the return of the Roosevelt. Thank you, hotels.com for my incredible free gigantic, elegant and delicious suite. And thank you Waldorf for bring back the Roosevelt.
