    The hotel was wonderful! It was in walking distance to DC (musuems/gallerys/and historic sites and monuments) and within Georgetown had plenty of restaurants and shopping stores. The restaurant at the Ritz was great (try the house salad, very delicious). The hotel staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. The room was clean, spacious (view was ok), quiet and comfortable (the bathroom was awesome, great for bubblebaths). Only compliant is the parking garage (to get there you had to take separate elevators not very convenient). However, parking fee was cheaper than posted ($20/day posted but paid only $15, which was great). My gf loves and would definitely come back again. It made our DC extra special and memorable. It was her first time here and she still raves about it. Thanks Ritz for spoiling us, made a great impression on us, now we only want to stay Ritzs anywhere we travel.

Location. The Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C., is within five blocks of Georgetown's shops, restaurants and university. Dupont Circle and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts are within seven blocks of the hotel. The property is less than six miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Hotel Features. The Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C. features 24-hour front desk service and a multilingual staff. The wood-paneled Lobby Lounge, capped by two marble fireplaces, serves afternoon tea and European coffee service. Live jazz is performed on select nights. The Grill is noted for classic cuisine created by Executive Chef Richard Arnoldi in the restaurant's exhibition kitchen. The Bar offers cigars, beverages and hors d'oeuvres. On the second floor, the Sports Club/LA is a 100,000-square-foot health club with two indoor lap pools, four basketball courts, and four squash and racquetball courts. The hotel's on-site spa and salon offers a variety of services.

Expert Tip. Washington Harbor, located one-half mile from the hotel, is filled with shops and restaurants, and features great views of the sunset on the Potomac River. The promenade at Washington Harbor is also a good place to watch college crew teams.
