Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 12Good room for the money.
Overall our experience at the Quadrant was very good. The Hotel Staff were extremely helpful and Tim one of the desk managers was very helpful and worked with us help resolve a reservation mix up. The rooms were very comfortable and it was nice to have two seperate bedrooms with queen beds in each room for two seperate couples. From our experience we found that most rooms in New Zealand and Australia have one room with a queen bed and the other with 2 twins so a room with 2 queen beds was a big plus. The only faults that I found with the room was there should have been some kind of glass cover on the dining table and the kitchen should have been fully stocked with cooking utensils. The only other comment that I have is, parking is very limited in the area so you have to use valet parking and the entrance to the hotel is very small so if there are mulitple cars in front you may not have room to park and check in.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 12Modern Hotel
Hotel is new and modern. Only problem is that it is an uphill walk from anywhere you might want to go.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 12Great location, view, and price!
This hotel is in the heart of the city and the view is incredible if you happen to be on a higher floor. It was pretty inexpensive considering the location. They do charge a lot for parking but there is a lot right down the block (about a 30 second walk from the hotel) that is much less. The room was pretty small but everything else made up for it.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 12Swanky
This hotel is a little bit swanky, very posh decor and accents. Probably not ideal for families, it does have a washer/dryer in room and a small kitchenette if you're interested in cooking. Location is within short walking distance of downtown Auckland, the Auckland museum, Albert park, and anywhere you'll want to be in Auckland. If you're looking to dine in a hotel, your options are very limited though they do have excellent muffins each morning available a la carte.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 12great room
Really clean, modern and comfortable hotel in a great location. Right across the street from a beautiful park, short walk to restaurants and shopping. Even had a little kitchen. Would definately stay here again!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 12Good hotel, poor service
The hotel was clean, in a good area and our room even had a washer/dryer. The only issue was with the staff. Upon arrival at 15:30 we were told that our room wasn't ready and that we would need to wait 10 minutes. 10 mintues turned into 30 and during this time four other guests checked in to their rooms while we were waiting. After 30 minuted I returned to the front desk where they had forgotten about us and they told us to wait another 15 minutes until our room was finally ready. No apologies were offered. We were satisfied with the hotel but not the staff.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 12Hotel with some flare!
The Quadrant Hotel is really quite nice for anyone staying in CBD of Auckland. The hotel is hip and trendy with a well-appointed 1 bedroom. The views are not spectaculor as they face either the Hyatt or an apartment building but the balconies and little cafe easily make up for it. The location near Albert Park is another bonus...slightly out of the busy downtown area but across from the beautiful park and easily a 10 minute walk down the hill. Only complaints include the breakdown of 1 of 3 elevators that did not get fixed for the 3 nights we were there. Likewise, the 1 bedroom did not have a washing machine/dryer as promised.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 12Pleasant Surprise!
We were delighted with the service, convenient central location and overall comfort and value of The Quadrant during our recent visit to Auckland, Just be fore-warned, however, that there is an additional daily fee to park a vehicle. But even including that, the rate was very reasonable. We especially appreciated the convenient mini-kitchen which allowed us to fix some of our meals and have snacks available. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
