Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 298Very nice.
We had a great family suite. Everyone was comfortable in there own space. The room was well equipped and updated. The only downfall is there is no store in the hotel so get food and drinks before you go back to the room. Only place to get drinks is in the vending machine and it was overpriced. Gas station right around the corner was easy to get to though.

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything was immaculate! We couldn't have found a better deal anywhere else. The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and of course the room was clean and perfect! We will definitely stay again in the future. Thanks hotels.com!

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 298Great room for the money
This is my second visit to this beautiful and very clean hotel, and I am sure it will not be my last. It is very close to Universal and all the store. I usually rent the 2 bedroom suite and my teenagers love it, becuase it feels like they have their own room and we have our own privacy. The staff is very kind and helpful. The pool area is great, love the music outside and enough lounge chairs for all. Thank you, we will be back soon.

We were not allowed to check into the room till after 5pm. We came back and still had to wait while someone went to check to see if the room was ready.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 298Beautiful Hotel, Large Rooms, Close to Attractions
About the hotel: We stayed one night in The Point Orlando Resort. We are from Orlando, the water main on our house broke, and we needed a place to stay in a hurry. Luckily this happened during off season and we were offered a Florida residence discount so the room on that particular night was obscenely inexpensive. We had a great stay. The room was large. The kitchen had modern appliances. The furniture was new, comfortable, and stylish. The bathroom was spacious, functional, and the Jacuzzi tub was a delight. A family of four could have easily stayed a week in the room and not felt cramped. Also, we visited the pool area and found it to be acceptable. About the location: The hotel is within walking distance of Wet and Wild. It is about 5 minutes from Universal Orlando and 10 minutes from Sea World and Aquatica. It is near the entrance to I4, which would give you easy access to Disney. There are several restaurants, markets, and plenty of shopping within walking distance from the hotel. If I had family or friends coming to town for an extended stay that could afford it I would recommend The Point Orlando Resort.

Ample room mini-kitchen extremely convenient. A in-room safe would make this a 5 star experience.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Pointe in the last 2 months. It has upscale suites for a reasonable cost. The mini cafe is pricy, but your room has all the amenities you need for eating. The pool is warm and clean. It is within walking distance of Universal but be very careful when crossing Universal and International. The cross walk does not work and you are crossing 8 lanes of traffic, other than that the walk is not bad if you are in good health. We actually made much better time than all the traffic waiting to get into the parking lot last week.
