Description
The Point Hotel is a modern resort situated beneath St. Blaize Lighthouse on a rocky outcrop in Mossel Bay, 45 kilometres from George Town. This five-storey hotel features 48 guestrooms, all of which include simple, light decor with modern furnishings and balconies overlooking the sea. All rooms have satellite television, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access, safes and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
The Lighthouse Restaurant offers traditional South African specialities, including fresh seafood and venison dishes and an extensive wine list, in an informal atmosphere overlooking the Mossel Bay peninsula. In front of the hotel is a tidal pool for safe swimming, where guests can enjoy the Inner and Outer pool.
