Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 122a little disappointed
The hotel was very pretty and quiet. I did like the hotel but it wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. It would've been find if it wasn't so expensive. However the room service was awesome but really expensive. Tasted great. The room was super small and I was really disappointed with the bathroom, the shower is not friendly to people who do not like confined spaces. I wish I would've known that. Because the hotel is historic it beautiful but also pretty spooky. Great place for a romantic anniversary trip. The staff was friendly as well. They take pets but there is now patch of grass outside of the hotel for miles so it was troublesome to take my dog outside because he only goes on grass.

Very nice accomodations. Room was small, but comfortable. A very nice fitness room with cardio machines and free weights. Only down side was my room smelled a little musty.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 122Want to pay to sleep on the floor
We booked a room with a king size bed. When we checked in we received a Queen. Called the front desk to check on what could be done. My brother spent his Honeymoon on the floor. He could have done that for free at home. No other rooms were available and so we were told we could only have the Queen even though we had booked the room 3 days in advance. called later to talk to the General manager and was told I would receive a phone call back in 30-45 min. Its been 2 days and I haven't heard from them. Even if you use a 3rd party like Hotels.com you should be able to have some kind of resolution to the problem.

Not an outstanding experience. Nice bedding. Small rooms. Good location. Fair on value. SLC has better deals.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 122No Breakfast Room Service
I loved this hotel! I just wish they had room service in the morning. The room service coincides with the restaurant hours, which is only lunch and dinner. They do have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby for guests.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 122Small room but very comfy
Lovely 100 year old hotel. Room was small and bathroom was very small, but very clean and well appointed. Extremely helpful staff provided suggestions for dining and detailed maps for excursions.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 122Missing Some Conveniences
The hotel was comfortable, beautiful and clean. However it is in a noice location. Parking is not convenience. I was not please with not have breakfast room service. I should have checked that prior to reservations. Thank goodness thay had a coffee bar in the lobby. Unfortunatly a lot of businessed in the city are closed on Sunday, we could not get a bagel or a danish for a quick breakfas. For the cost, it is not a place that I would stay again or recommend.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 122Lovely historic hotel
As we needed to be close to the Convention Center, the Peery Hotel was so convenient. It did not provide breakfast so the Starbucks coffee and teas were conveniently located in the lovely, historical lobby. A variety of cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was a bit small and the air conditioner was noisy, but convenience won out.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 122Just okay
Upon check-in the first room's air conditioner did not work and neither did the television. It took another ten to fifteen minutes to get me another room. I was not happy because I had already had a long day and was very hot and ready to shower. When I got in the other room it was cool but the air conditioner made so much noise that I woke up several times during the night and had to turn the television up loud in order to hear it. I had room service the first night and paid $96 for a fatty and tough filet mignon and under cooked and bland calamari. Worst room service food I've had. Valet parking was $14/night and was outdoors. So your car was exposed to whatever elements and you essentially could self park in the same location for $4 less. The concierge was very helpful and professional. Decor was pretty. Would not stay there again considering what I got.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 122Classic with amenities
This hotel is in an older building and has retained a lot of architectural details. Yet, everything is modern, comfortable and clean. It is super well-located
