Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 430The Best.
My wife and I travel extensively. The Michelangelo Hotel is a fine a hotel as we have ever stayed and we have stayed in some impressive hotels around the world. The location (on 7th between Central Park and Time Square right across the street from Rockefeller Center on one side and Carnegie Deli on the other) was easy walking distance to everything. The public areas, and general appearance were great. Our room was outstanding, very roomy and appointed very well. But most of all the staff were the best! Especially Henry the bellman.Just a super guy. He helped us to our room, always remembered our names as we were coming and going, and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to go where we wanted or what to see when we got there. Save yourself the time, effort and disappointment of looking for any other hotel when staying in midtown. The Michelangelo is all you need to remember.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 430Great Weekend in NYC
Took my daughter to NYC for a birthday celebration. The location was great. The room was beautiful - and big for NYC! Service was good. Felt like we got a great deal for the price. We will definitely go back to the Michelangelo for future trips - we won't even look into other hotels!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 430The best hotel I have ever spent the night at in Manhattan!
I have been going to New York for 25 years and this Hotel was the best experience hands down. The doorman was the best source of information and always in a great mood. He unfailingly opened the door and never once was inattentive. He was friendly yet kept the front area moving outside the Hotel. The whole staff did everything they could to assist us for a delightful stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail has made this my "new " favorite hotel. Any issues or questions were addressed quickly and professionally. In general I have not ever stayed at a hotel where I can not even suggest an area of improvement. The location midway between Central Park and Times Square was excellent for the whole weekend. I appreciated the whole experience. Thanks for the wonderful room.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 430Comfortably sheik
We were greated with smiles and efficency. The room was comfortable and larger than other New York hotels we have stayed in. Well located and the conceige was very helpful with dining suggestions. We did miss the iron in the room and the coffee, both of which seem standard in most hotels these days, but they made up for the coffee in the lounge.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 430My first choice in Theater District!
Great hotel in the heart of the theater district. we walked to all our shows in a couple of minutes and hung out in Time Square. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was extremely comfortable and plush. The rate was consistent with many other hotels in the area and the hotel is probably better than most. We were on the third floor and were suprised at how quiet the rooms was. I would definitely stay here again! The only downside: no coffee maker or iron. They delivered both upon request but you have to provide your own coffee.

From the front entrance to the bed - awesome! We were treated so well we couldn't believe it. Nice, helpful, beautiful, best bed ever, invigorating shower, wonderful pillows...we loved it all and we aren't even related!

This is our 3rd stay, since we found the Michelangelo, and as usual, it is wonderful. It's quiet and restfull in the city that never sleeps. We look forward to our next visit.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 430Great find
Near Times Square, and excellent value for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. The free nighttime shoe shining is awesome. Rooms larger than most in mid town Manhattan.

Close to Broadway, Madison and 5th Ave. Many restaurants near the hotel. Is a bit noisey on lower floors.(street noise) The garbage is picked up daily and we heard that.
