Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 147Just What I Needed
The hotel was conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Inkster, MI, where I conducted business. It was also near the expressway making it easier for me to access other areas of the Detroit Metro area. It was clean and the service was very good. The free high speed internet and inexpensive copies (10 cent each) were very helpful. The only draw backs were the breakfast and the business center. The cut fruit on the breakfast bar had the taste of other foods (as if it had been left uncovered in the fridge). As for the business center, the lack of basic software like Microsoft Office made it of limited use. Luckily, I had my laptop.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 147Horrible experence
When we got there front desk staff was not friendly. She was short abd abrupt when we ask questions. We go to our room to find it had not even been cleaned. We were given another room but when we were putting supplies in the fridge we found it full of food left by others. We finally contacted the manager on duty. She did apolize and stated she was contacting you to get our money refunded and she gave us another room. However, in the bathroom we found a pill on the floor and small pieces of paper on the floor in the bedroom. By this time we were tired and hungry and decided to just eat since the cleanliness was not going to improve.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 147No Security Support
Extremely loud (screaming), obnoxious and fighting guests in the hall after 1AM. Young children running wild after 1AM. Contacted front desk three times. A "plain clothes-ed" security man came and asked the guests to "keep it down", three times. He did ask us if we wanted to move to a different room, at 2AM. What should have happened is that those screaming and fighting guests should have been evicted. Actually we should have called the police because the hotel could not handle the situation. When we complained again the next morning at check out we were told that the desk was aware, they had received a number of complaints! No discount was offered, only an apology for our lousy stay.

ADVISED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS AVAILABLE AT 5:30 AM,LEFT AT 6 AM, RESTAURANT NOT OPEN. DISTRUBED BY THE LOUD NOISE OF THE JETS. HAVE STAYED AT OTHER HOTELS AT AIRPORT AND WAS NOT DISTRUBED BY SOUNDS OF JETS. STAFF VERY ACCOMMODATING.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 147Convenience, Great Rate, Comfortable, Nice pool
I needed a hotel for one night that was inexpensive but not ghetto, and the metropolitan was it. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, the indoor/outdoor pool was nice. The complimentary airport shuttle was convenient leaving every 20 minutes, in fact I left something in the room and they went back and got it and brought it to the airport to me. I will definitely stay here again. The room was quiet despite being right next to the airport. The only downside was the elevator stunk like cigarette smoke and mold. But for the price, I could handle it for 23 seconds. It was a 5 minute walk to McDonalds, Big Boy, and gas station. I think there were some other restaurants nearby, but I didn't go to them.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 147Needs Improvement
Aside from the friendliness of the staff and the convenience of the location, the hotel leaves A LOT to be desired. The room and bedding had a damp feeling; the cooling/heating unit was so loud that it kept me up all night because if I shut it off, it became too hot and humid inside the room to sleep; the bathtub was grimy and I could not give my toddler a bath; and the carpet had many stains. There was one very slow elevator; the continental breakfast consisted of muffins/pastries, cereal, juice and a coffee station which was frequently lacking condiments. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay there again.
