Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 105Lovely Hotel
This was a very nice quaint hotel. The only complaint I would have is I stayed on Halloween night and there seemed to be all of these young people running up and down the halls slamming doors, running up and down the stairs and yelling. I stayed at this hotel because I was running a 15k the next morning and needed my rest. I did not get any and was very disappointed. The front desk staff seemed like I was disturbing them whenever I had a question. They seemed to be more focused on whatever they were looking at on the screen in front of them than whatever was on my mind.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 105Poor Parking and Small Rooms
The hotel needs to be more specific with what the parking conditions are before you check in. Also it would be nice to be informed that parking was additional money. My room at home is bigger than the hotel rooms. There is enough room for a bed and the window is up to high to see out of. Also the "complimentary" breakfast is horrible. You get cereal and juice. I would not recommend this hotel as the money was more than what you get.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 105Lovely Hotel
I stayed at the Majestic Hotel halloween night in preparation for a 15k the next morning. I really needed my rest but did not get it. I understand it was halloween night but there was no call for all of the door slamming, yelling up and down the halls or running up and down the stairs until 1 or 2 in the morning. You would have thought a school of kindergartners were staying there. And I never heard any hotel staff around attempting to tell people to keep it quiet. Overall the hotel was very lovely and I would stay there again, but I was greatly disappointed in the staff at the front desk. They did not seem to be interested in me or my needs rather were were more focused on whatever was on the sceen in front of them.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 105Lovely little hotel in nice neighborhood.
Located close to Wrigley and the Lake. Very walkable neighborhood, close to restaurants, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 105Nice hotel but I expected more
Very quaint hotel and location and the room was decorated nicely and spacious. However, temperature control was non-existent and the bathroom was a postage stamp. When sitting on the toilet, either a doorknob or radiator was only 6" from your face. Parking was inconvenient. A nice property but I expected more.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 105Great for the money!
The hotel was very convenient located. Walking distance from nice restaurants, public transportation and the lake. It was pretty much what I expected. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on hotels, since I was gonna go there to shower and crash. Not a luxury hotel, but the room was quiet, clean, and the staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 105I wouldn't stay anywhere else
After my fourth stay at The Majestic Hotel in the last 10 years, I wouldn't stay anywhere else near Wrigley. The Majestic is located in a great neighborhood, just two blocks from the lake and just a few blocks from Wrigley, great entertainment and transportation routes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are in good condition and always clean. Continental breakfast is nice, but get there early for best selection.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 105Get the mini suite or your room is too small.
The hotel had a wonderful old world upscale charm to it. My king room was very small but very clean and comfortable for 1 person. I do not recommend trying to fit another person in the room. The mini suite is the size of a normal hotel room and is recommended. The location is in a very quiet area close to lake shore drive, wrigley field, and boys town. Nice and quiet.

Easy to get anywhere from this lovely spot. Right by the lake and great places to eat. Wish there was a patio or at least a table outside.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 105Rude Desk attendant
The night lady at the desk when we checked in was quite rude and that set the tone for a bad stay but other than that location was great to wrigley field everyone else was helpful and nice room was always clean and area was quiet. The elevators were quite small I would not go in them

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 105Excellent value
The hotel was an excellent value. Within a short cab ride of downtown and within walking distance of the lakeshore and Lakeview neighborhood with shops and restaurants. Hotel atmosphere was historic and comfortable. Jr. Suite was roomy. Bathroom was very clean.
