Good room for the money

It was fine for my 3 night stay. As a single woman I was a bit suprised to be put on the ground floor, but I did feel secure. Room was spacious and clean. Very easy to travel to and from the downtown area. I would stay there again.

Good for the money

The Lodge at Santa Fe is in a great location, close to everything. The hotel is a bit old and showing it's age, but it was clean and fairly comfortable. The front counter staff were very helpful with dinner recommendations and getting us set up on the wireless network. The room was a typical hotel room. The bathroom could definitely use a remodel and there were several lightbulbs out around the complex. It's not the best hotel we've visited, but considering the great low rate we were able to get and the convenient location to the highway and sights, it was worth the money. I would recommend that others consider staying here, just don't pay the full price listed on their website.

Very convenient and comfortable

Very convenient location with easy access to highways and the Plaza. Lovely restaurant and a beautiful pool/hot tub area. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking.

Fine for the sale price

We had a suite and single room which the hotel was able to put together allowing our whole family, including, 2 young children, and pets, to be connected into one large suite. That was very nice. The rooms had been nice but are now feeling a bit dingy and the halls were very much so, with even a few small holes missing out of the carpet. Needs a good cleaning. We enjoyed the view from our room as it overlooked the pool, and as the leaves were changing, the view out over the hotel and into the distance was great. The bathrooms were verry small but nice. The hotel was only 5 minutes or less by car from the plaza, so convenient if you are not staying right in the plaza area. Overall, we had a good stay but it was more due to being together with family than any outstanding qualities of the hotel. If we were to get the same price again however, had our children and needed to bring our pets, which was a consideration, I would stay there again.

Scenic peaceful surroundings, comfortable rooms, hot water at peak morning hours... are just a few happy memories from this hotel.

Comfortable hotel for price

interesting SW decor. Lovely view. Garden and pool very inviting. Don't count on the restaurant. It wasn't open in the evening, although the bar was. It was open for breakfast but had no customers. We chose not to pay the high prices for breakfast there. Knowing how many places there are to eat in Santa Fe, that's not a big deal.
